Westbrook Health Center to Open in Waukesha County
Complete family healthcare services from Medical College of Wisconsin Physicians
Milwaukee, WI (August 28, 2009) – Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin will open a new healthcare center in Waukesha on Tuesday, September 8, in the former Steinhafels location at 2315 E. Moreland Blvd.
Located just south of the Interstate 94 and Highway 18 intersection, the new Westbrook Health Center makes the services of Medical College of Wisconsin physicians available at a convenient western suburban location. Seven physicians representing specialties in internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology are already accepting appointments to see patients at the new center. Westbrook Health Center also will have on-site laboratory services when it opens and will add medical imaging services such as mammography, MRI and CT by year-end.
“The whole family’s healthcare needs can be met right here, providing a continuum of care that includes access to eastern Wisconsin’s only academic medical center if specialty care is needed,” said Mohan Dhariwal, DO, PhD, medical director of the new center and a Medical College of Wisconsin internal medicine physician.
