1 A recycling bin was stolen from a residence at 2004 Deer Path prior to 9:34 a.m. June 24.
2 An intoxicated man was starting fights with people as they walked down the street at 316 W. Broadway at 2:52 p.m. June 24. He was earlier kicked out of Dave's Family Restaurant after starting a fight.
3 A handicap parking permit card was stolen from the glove compartment of a man's unlocked vehicle in his garage at 2300 Allen Lane prior to 5:49 p.m. June 24.
4 An intoxicated man who was lying in the grass near the entrance to the Shell gas station, 1635 E. Main St., was taken into custody at 9:34 p.m. June 24.
5 A caller at 241 South St. was upset because construction is taking place at 5:41 a.m. June 25. Crews said they start working between 5 and 5:30 a.m. to move equipment because of how congested it gets later in the morning. Crews said they put tape over the backup beeper to quiet the noise down.
6 Weedwackers, a blower and a gas can were stolen from a truck that was broken into at 2121 S. West Ave. prior to 7:21 a.m. June 25.
7 A Waukesha North High School student said when he was walking at Garland Avenue and North Grandview Boulevard heading to the school, a man in a dark blue Toyota drove up to him and asked him if he wanted a ride at 9 a.m. June 25. After the boy said "no," the driver, described as 45 to 55 years old with gray hair and glasses, again asked if he was heading to the high school to work out and offered him a ride. The man drove off after the boy ignored him.
8 One person was taken into custody after an altercation took place between a man and customer at Menards, 2315 Bluemound Road, at 10:36 a.m. June 25. The disturbance stemmed from a retail theft.
9 Police were called after a male allegedly hit a female in the face as they were driving into an apartment complex at 2418 Springdale Road at 12:59 p.m. June 25.
10 A woman in the 2100 block of Kensington Drive was receiving harassing phone calls and texts by people trying to get money from her at 4:32 p.m. June 25. She said a male claims to work for a shoe company. Police told the woman to block the number and not give out any information.
11 An iPad was stolen from Waukesha North High School, 2222 Michigan Ave., prior to 5:20 p.m. June 25.
12 Police were called to an apartment at 120 Cambridge Ave. at 11:11 p.m. June 25 after a fight broke out between two males in their mid-20s. The men told police the fight started after they were arguing over who the king of rock 'n' roll is.
13 An attempted burglary was reported at the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County building, 701 Northview Road, at 2:14 a.m. June 26. An alarm seemed to indicate that glass was broken on the building, but police determined a cat that had gotten out in the stray room had clawed at the window, triggering the alarm.
14 A caller at 407 Downing Drive reported hearing screaming, possibly in the area of Downing Drive and Racine Avenue, at 2:43 a.m. June 26. A neighbor told police the noise was coming from foxes mating.
15 A caller said a man at 425 W. Dunbar Ave. shot at a bird with a pellet gun at 6:02 a.m. June 26.
16 Tires were stolen off a bicycle while it was locked on a bike rack at an apartment at 900 N. Hartwell Ave. prior to 11:04 a.m. June 26.
17 A caller saw a person hold a gun at Debbie Drive and South Grand Avenue at 12:51 p.m. June 26. It turned out to be a BB gun and the juvenile admitted to manipulating the slide of the gun. He said he was trying to fix it for a friend. The gun was turned over to police.
18 Rain gutters were stolen from a backyard at 120 Fourth Street prior to 6:09 p.m. June 26.
19 A caller reported a woman in another vehicle almost struck her car in the drive-thru at Taco Bell, 405 W. Sunset Drive, at 3:38 a.m. June 27. The woman ended up getting out of her vehicle and stumbling to the drive-thru window to get her food. She could barely stand and kept apologizing to the employees, stating "sorry, we're drunk."
20 A man, who was possibly "huffing," was found lying in the grass by the bus stop outside the Walmart Supercenter, 2000 S. West Ave., at 5:11 p.m. June 27. An aerosol can was found near him.
21 A house window was shot at with a BB gun at 122 Frame Ave. at 9:54 p.m. June 27.
22 A male was seen urinating in the parking lot of Kwik Trip, 2530 N. Grandview Blvd., at 10:23 p.m. June 27.
23 Money was stolen from a man's wallet that was left in an unlocked van overnight June 27-28 at 2014 Cardinal Drive.
24 A man was taken into custody after he poured oil on the hallway carpet in an apartment at 1165 White Rock Ave. at 3:22 p.m. June 28.
25 A caller said a male teenager spit in his face outside an apartment at 1105 Dopp St. at 7:25 p.m. June 28.
26 A woman was taken into custody for violating conditions of her probation and parole after she was drinking and ran away from a male at South Moreland Boulevard and Dopp Street at 6:23 a.m. June 29.
27 A woman was taken into custody after she allegedly took a man's car and tried to run him over at 1208 Fleetfoot Drive at 11:44 a.m. June 29. Darlene Spears, 45, was later charged with felony counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, driving a vehicle without consent and hit and run-involving injury. The man who was hit by the car sustained arm, knee and leg injuries and was taken to the hospital. Spears is in jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
28 A caller said someone was possibly shooting bottle rockets at ducks in the Fox River at Corrina Boulevard and North Barstow Street and also setting off fireworks at 1:27 p.m. June 29.
29 A home at 3008 East View Court was broken into prior to 3:46 p.m. June 29. All the drawers and closets were gone through and the back door was unlocked and broken. The caller's coin collection, money and jewelry were stolen.
30 An obscene graphic was spray-painted on the sidewalk at 213 Spring St. prior to 6:12 p.m. June 29.
31 Money was stolen from a purse in a car in a garage at 2818 Buckingham Court prior to 9:33 a.m. June 30.
32 A phone was stolen from a locker at Country Springs Hotel, 2810 Golf Road, prior to noon June 30.
33 A group of youths were swearing and being unruly at the skate park at 400 Spring St. at 4:46 p.m. June 30. When the park attendant asked them to leave, they threatened to beat her up.
34 A woman reported someone defecated inside the door to the women's restroom at Prairie Park, 821 School Drive, at 6:26 p.m. June 30.
35 A caller reported a suspicious male was wandering around the Glacial Drumlin Trail along Sentry Drive and Progress Avenue at 8:32 p.m. June 30 holding what was believed to be a machete. Police determined the man actually had a garden hoe over his shoulder because he was digging for night crawlers in the woods.
36 A house was egged at 1122 Cavalier Drive at 9:04 p.m. June 30 for the third time in the past month and a half.
