Kenneth Riesch and Daniel Shepard were elected to the Waukesha State BankBoard of Directors. Riesch is president of R&R Insurance Services Inc. and Shepard is executive vice president of Waukesha State Bank.

Rich Jaworski was hired as director of exhibits, Leslie Rohloff as director of development and Laurel Kirby as administrative assistant by the Waukesha County Museum.

The Junior Woman's Club of Waukesha donatednearly $ 3,500 to Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, The Food Pantry of Waukesha, Healthy Families, Hebron House, Siena House, RSVP, St. Joe's Medical and Dental Clinic and The Woman's Center.

Diversified Insurance Services of Waukesha was given the President's Club award by Accident Fund Insurance Company of America.

The Waukesha Elks Lodge #400 officers for 2007 are Robert Schwingle, Joe Harrer, Frank Bahleda III, Manny Salinas III, Steve Frasch, Mike McCoy, Neil Butchart, Arlyn Clarksen, Ken Bare, John DeQuardo and Billy Hunkins.

Cheryl Waber was hired to the management team as director of Clinical Service at Laureate Group, Waukesha. Lisa Stueland has been promoted to vice president.

Lynn Ketchum, the associate director of The Women's Center, Waukesha, was honored at the annual Voices of Courage Awards for her work with many local organizations throughout Waukesha and Milwaukee counties.

Army National Guard Pvt. Chris Escalera has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Escalera is the son of Lizzette Clemente of Waukesha.

Army Staff Sgt. Daniel Wiser participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The soldier served in Baghdad as a member of a battalion assigned to the 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team from Fort Richardson, Anchorage, Alaska. Wise is a mortar section sergeant with 10 years of military service. He is the son of Ken and Sue Wiser of Waukesha. The staff sergeant is a 1996 graduate of Waukesha North High School.

Dan Groh, a 2007 graduate of Waukesha South High School, enlisted in the Marine Corps' delayed entry program. He is scheduled to report for training in San Diego, Calif., in August. He is the son of John and Lori Groh of Waukesha.

Army Pvt. Daniel Huber has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning. He is the son of Gary Huber of Waukesha and is a 2004 graduate of Waukesha West High School.
