Police Report: March 27

1 A neighbor called to report a burglary in progress at 11:23 a.m. March 14 in the 1500 block of Roxbury Way of a residence that was taken over by the bank. However, police found that the people attempting entry were contractors from the bank who were attempting to change the locks for a new tenant.

2 Two males who got in a silver van were seen smoking marijuana at 1:19 p.m. March 14 at 1707 Elder St.

3 A person was reportedly smoking "crack" in a silver car at 8:38 p.m. March 14 at 2513 Plaza Court.

4 A fight that got physical between two women broke out across the street from Walmart at 11:50 p.m. March 14 at 1865 S. West Ave. One of the females also broke into an apartment, damaged the front door and its frame and began fighting with a man.

5 A caller reported at 8:41 a.m. March 15 that someone drove over their yard and damaged their lawn at 2135 Yvonne St.

6 An American flag was reported stolen at 10:18 a.m. March 15 from a residence at 2500 Pendleton Place.

7 A caller reported at 5:55 p.m. March 15 at 125 N. Racine Ave. that his neighbor was yelling and swearing at him and his girlfriend. The caller said his neighbor called him a "fat-a**" and his girlfriend a "b****" while they were outside. The man said he was yelling at his dogs and not his neighbors.

8 A cellphone was stolen from a vehicle at 1:25 a.m. March 16 when the owner was inside the PDQ convenience store, 2106 S. West Ave.

9 A woman called police at 6:03 a.m. March 16 to report that when she was driving to work on East Moreland Blvd. there was a popping noise and appeared to be a bullet hole in her back window. When police arrived, they realized the hole in the vehicle's window was due to weather conditions.

10 Police were called to an apartment complex at 4:07 p.m. March 16 at 1925 Bonnie Lane apartment for a mother hitting her son with a glass bottle that cut his head. The police log also said she threatened him with a knife. The mother also had a BB-gun and pointed it at the male, who wrestled it from her before she took it back.

11 Two boys were chasing each other with airsoft guns and a plastic rifle that they found at 7:02 p.m. March 16 at 1804 S. Grand Ave. When they saw police they took off running to one of the boy's residence, they were talked to about the use of airsoft guns and fleeing from officers.

12 A caller reported at 7:04 p.m. March 16 that a female at 106 Madison Court was driving a motorcycle or moped up and down the court with her 2- or 3-year-old child sitting on the handlebars.

13 Police were called to STEM Academy's Randall Campus, 114 S. Charles St., at 12:22 p.m. March 17 for a 10-year-old boy threatening to "kill" people. No weapons were found, and the mother was handling the situation.

14 A man reported at 2:20 p.m. March 17 that his Pomeranian dog named "Jazzy" was taken from his car at 1600 E. Main St. Security footage with a clear view of the caller's vehicle showed no one entering the car while he was inside the Woodman's Food Market, and no dog exited the vehicle between when he left and re-entered his car.

15 A student had marijuana at 3:09 p.m. March 17 at Waukesha West High School, 3301 Saylesville Road.

16 A domestic disturbance at 12:14 a.m. March 18 at 355 Dodie Drive ensued after a daughter told her mother she was gay. The mother didn't take her daughter's news well, and a verbal argument began. The daughter then tried to attack her, and during the argument, the daughter's brother was injured. After the daughter returned from the bar later in the day, the mom barricaded the door so she couldn't come in. After she forced her way in, the mom called police.

17 An employee was caught stealing money from the register at GameStop, 1210 W. Sunset Drive, Suite 110, at 4:20 p.m. March 18.

18 A woman who was fired from Citgo at 300 W. Sunset Drive one day earlier came into the store 4:33 p.m. March 18 and falsely told an employee that she had permission to pick up $160. The employee on duty gave the money to her; the woman has refused to return the money.

19 A caller reported a domestic disturbance after hearing "a lot of yelling and screaming" and hearing a woman say "oh no, oh no" at 10:04 p.m. March 18 at an apartment at 1800 Kensington Drive. Police, however, found no criteria for a domestic as the family was upset because their dog was having medical issues.

20 Two women had to be separated by security after physically fighting in a room inside the Country Springs Hotel, 2810 Golf Road, at 12:23 a.m. March 19.

21 Staff at Hadfield Elementary, 733 Linden St., found three pages of notes written by an 11-year-old student about "nuking the school" at 3:50 p.m. March 19. The police log says the student was angry with a teacher. The child's mother will handle the issue.

22 A caller said he was intentionally struck by a vehicle at 5:24 p.m. March 19 at 525 Elizabeth St. He said he knows the suspect. The victim, who landed on his head, believed his arm was broken.

23 A caller said someone broke into his house and beat him up at 2:54 a.m. March 20 in a lower apartment unit at 525 Elizabeth St.

24 Police were called at 8:16 a.m. March 20 at 106 Cecilia Court by a woman who was walking home with her baby and a woman in a vehicle was driving next to her yelling at her. The incident started when the caller threw a tissue on the other woman's property. The woman then confronted the caller and an exchange of words began before the woman began following the caller.

25 When employees were unpacking a donation at Goodwill, 2015 Meadow Lane, at 9:38 a.m. March 20 they found what they believe is marijuana. It was turned over to police.

26 A laptop was stolen from the second-floor Family Resource Center at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, 725 American Ave., at 4:51 p.m. March 20.
