Police Report: Feb. 27

1 Subjects smoking marijuana in an apartment was reported at 6:56 p.m. Feb. 15 at 2434 Springdale Road. Police attempted to contact those living in the apartment, as police could "clearly smell odor of burnt marijuana." Residents were inside but refused to come to the door.

2 A vehicle with a loud exhaust was racing up and down the street and doing doughnuts in traffic at 2:14 a.m. Feb. 16 at 1844 Ruben Drive.

3 A fight between four people was reported at 2:22 a.m. Feb. 16 at 222 Park Place. One man was scraping off his vehicle when three people approached him and shoved him. The suspects got into a vehicle off Barstow Street.

4 A woman called police at 10:42 a.m. Feb. 16 at 228 Joellen Drive to report that her ex-boyfriend damaged her vehicle the previous night. She told police she has texts proving he did it.

5 A man called police at 4:45 p.m. Feb. 16 to report a person taking a picture of his house at 1111 White Rock Ave. When the caller confronted the photographer the man ran off toward Frame Park. Police spoke with the photographer, who said he was taking pictures of specific houses for an architectural class. The photographer was told to speak with homeowners before photographing houses.

6 Police responded to a vehicle at 7:44 p.m. Feb. 16 at 510 S. West Ave. where they saw two people sitting in the car in the corner of the parking lot making out. Both were adults and said contact was consensual.

7 For the second time in four days, police responded to 1007 N. Bel-Ayr Drive at 8:08 p.m. Feb. 16 for valve stems stolen out of two tires on a vehicle at this residence. The caller said he believes a neighbor is responsible for the thefts.

8 A complainant came to the Waukesha Police Department at 2:01 p.m. Feb. 17 to state that a man threw a quesadilla and hit her in the face and then kicked off her passenger side mirror at 405 W. Sunset Drive. The victim said she wants to teach the suspect a lesson but thinks getting him arrested is too much, so she didn't file a complaint.

9 Police were called at 4:51 p.m. Feb. 17 to 2229 Sunkist Ave. for a neighbor problem. The neighbor at 2223 Sunkist was standing at the end of the caller's driveway yelling at her and throwing snow in the driveway. The neighbor at 2223 said he admitted to placing snow in his neighbor's driveway. Police advised him of the "childish behavior."

10 A battery was reported at 7:25 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Hebron House of Hospitality's men's overflow shelter, 1721 Northview Road. The incident reportedly happened on the shuttle bus that takes men to the shelter. The victim has a bloody lip. There were conflicting stories from those police spoke with.

11 A fire in the attic of a garage was reported at 4 a.m. Feb. 18 at a house at 1212 Guthrie Road. The five occupants all evacuated safely. There was a light haze of smoke inside. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire.

12 Police were called at 9:27 a.m. Feb. 18 for a stolen iPad at Horning Middle School, 2000 Wolf Road. The caller said a student had an iPad taken the previous day. The caller said they found the girl who took it and that the iPad was at her house ; she was being uncooperative with staff, the caller said.

13 Police were called to Summit View Elementary School, 2100 Summit Ave., at 11:50 a.m. Feb. 18 for a 10-year-old boy who was "out of control" and throwing furniture. The student's mother was contacted; she said she is trying to get services for the child.

14 Theft of $111 from a bank bag was reported at 1:50 p.m. Feb. 18 at an apartment, 801 N. East Ave. The apartment door had been left unlocked.

15 An iPhone 5 was reported stolen at 2:23 p.m. Feb. 18 from the Waukesha West High School gymnasium, 3301 Saylesville Road.

16 A female at the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., reported being stalked by a group of females outside at 2:23 p.m. Feb. 18.

17 Burglary was reported at 3:42 p.m. Feb. 18 at Adventure Games + Hobbies/Toys, 248 Maple Ave. The suspect broke the back window of the store.

18 Police were called at 5:13 p.m. Feb. 18 by a man at an apartment at 1710 Elder St. who said he was receiving "threatening texts" from an ex-girlfriend who lives in Milwaukee County. The man said the woman was calling him names. Police provided him options on how to ignore his ex, and he told police that he had not slept in days. Police gave him a list of priorities, the first of which was to get some sleep.

19 Two callers reported that between 8:17 and 8:31 p.m. Feb. 18 a 2013 Ford Fusion and 2011 black Toyota Camry had their windows smashed at 2513 Plaza Court. An Army book bag was also stolen from the Ford.

20 Police were called at 12:20 p.m. Feb. 19 for a report of a man in a silver Honda Civic on Corporate Drive who appeared to be using heroin. He was seen moving around in the back of his car, and when the caller drove past he ducked under the window.

21 A man called police at 2:38 p.m. Feb. 19 to report his office and filing cabinet had been broken into and personal company files were taken at 2738 Northview Road.

22 Police were called to an apartment at 6:39 p.m. Feb. 19 at 2401 Springdale Road for an 8-year-old who tried to stab his aunt with a steak knife. The caller said the boy was upset because he had to take a bath. The caller was not injured.

23 Police were called at 10:40 p.m. Feb. 19 for a noise complaint at 118 W. Dunbar Ave. for a possible underage drinking party going on in the upper unit. The caller confronted them to quiet down but a woman got in her face and said "What ya gonna do, b----?"

24 A woman's vehicle was entered at 4:19 p.m. Feb. 20 at 3217 Fiddlers Creek Drive. The woman, who works at Merrill Hills Manor, said $200 of the $700 in her wallet was taken.

25 Marijuana was reported at an apartment at 7:48 p.m. Feb. 20 at 1227 Lambeth Road. The person in the apartment admitted to having marijuana but said his brother left with it.

26 A man called police to report that his vehicle was egged while at work at 10:16 p.m. Feb. 21 at 1535 E. Moreland Blvd.

27 A caller reported at 12:52 a.m. Feb. 22 that a man took a shopping cart and was slamming it into the rear of the his vehicle at Walmart Supercenter, 2000 S. West Ave.

28 Police responded to a fight at 12:54 a.m. Feb. 22 at Bosco's Social Club, 260 W. Main St.

29 A caller reported at 3:14 a.m. Feb. 22 that people are fighting in an apartment at 242 Hinman Ave. Officers had just left this apartment after taking a burglary complaint where the apartment's doors were kicked in two days in a row. The husband in the apartment was upset and intoxicated. Police heard no arguments or fighting, but the man admitted to yelling because he's mad about the burglary.

30 Police were called at 9:04 a.m. Feb. 22 to a report of a car getting egged the previous night at 220 E. Sunset Drive. The caller said four Waukesha South High School students egged the car after another student refused to give them a ride.
