Police Report: Feb. 20

1 A noise complaint was reported at 3:04 a.m. Feb. 9 for an apartment at 407 Sheffield Road. The resident agreed to turn the music off and keep the noise down for the rest of the night.

2 Police responded to a fight between two roommates at an apartment at 10 a.m. Feb. 9 at West Broadway. The caller said his roommate and he were fighting, and she grabbed a butcher knife. According to the police log, the female cut the caller on the hand but he refused an ambulance. The man went to the kitchen and grabbed the knife away from her, the log says. The man said he broke the female's phone in the altercation.

3 A manager of a group home at 303 N. West Ave. found marijuana in a resident's room at 6:31 p.m. Feb. 9.

4 A man called police at 11:14 p.m. Feb. 9 at an apartment at 206 Madison St. to report that he received harassing text messages from his ex-girlfriend's cousin. The man says he wants her to stop having contact with him. Police spoke to the female who said the man is harassing her.

5 Police were called due to a man who was taking pictures of students going into the school at 7:24 a.m. Feb. 10 in the Waukesha West High School parking lot, 3301 Saylesville Road. The man, driving a black jeep, had a hat and mustache and was in his late 40s or early 50s. A second caller reported the man pointed his camera lens at the caller in the Drama Department parking area.

6 Police responded to a call at 3:34 p.m. Feb. 10 at 209 N. Grandview Blvd. due to a caller saying that a drug dealer broke into her residence. The caller said she went on a date with the man and knew that he was a drug dealer and has received harassing phone calls from him for about the past month.

7 Police were called at 4:17 p.m. Feb. 10 to an apartment complex at 1040 River Place Blvd. when a caller reported that their elderly neighbor, who, according to the police log is "senile," threatened his wife. The elderly neighbor is upset over the caller's dog barking too much.

8 Waukesha Public Library security reported at 4:52 p.m. Feb. 10 at 321 Wisconsin Ave. that a man was causing problems and is being physical with library staff in the lobby area.

9 A caller reported at 6:47 p.m. Feb. 10 that their taillight on their vehicle was damaged by a former co-worker at 2417 Pewaukee Road.

10 A caller reported at 10:57 p.m. Feb. 10 at 918 Caroline Street to say that someone broke into their house the previous night.

11 Disorderly conduct was reported at 1:15 p.m. Feb. 11 at Waukesha West High School, 3301 Saylesville Road.

12 Police were called to Hillcrest Elementary School, 2200 Davidson Road, at 2 p.m. Feb. 11 for a child being physically violent in a classroom.

13 Damage to a bus shelter was reported at 2:09 p.m. Feb. 11 on the corner of Nike Drive and East Main Street. The police log says glass was shot out by a BB or pellet gun.

14 A fight was reported at 10:44 p.m. Feb. 11 at an apartment at 1210 Fleetfoot Drive. According to the police log, the caller's boyfriend, who was drunk, battered her. The log says the man tried choking the woman and she was bleeding, but refused an ambulance multiple times. She told police she thought the man had a gun because he is a felon and has posted pictures of a gun.

15 A caller reported at 5:37 a.m. Feb. 12 at 1007 N. Bel-Ayr Drive that all four tires of their vehicle were flattened during the night. The valve stems were also removed.

16 A large amount of graffiti was reported at 10:27 a.m. Feb. 12 on a building on the south side of the road, west of 1407 E. Sunset Drive. The graffiti was on the front of the property and has the word "Tooth" and letters "Sce."

17 Harassment was reported at 12:36 p.m. Feb. 12 at an apartment at 206 Madison St. The caller said he met a woman on Facebook, who gave his phone number out to people who are texting him repeatedly. He asked them to stop, but they continue and he's now receiving messages from a girl he used to see in California. The man was told to download a free phone application to block her calls/texts.

18 Police were called after a teenage female was approached by two males who were making sexual comments to her at 1:18 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave. Police talked to the males about their behavior and asked them to leave the library.

19 Midwest Dental Pewaukee, 2305 Silvernail Road, was reported burglarized at 7:01 a.m. Feb. 13.

20 A knife and cigarettes were stolen from the caller's unlocked car at 8:22 a.m. Feb. 13 at 1433 Oakdale Drive.

21 The Plaza Garibaldi Restaurant & Bar, 2301 Silvernail Road, was reported burglarized at 10:31 a.m. Feb. 13. The police log says money and liquor were stolen from the Mexican restaurant.

22 The owner of Waukesha Iron and Metal, 1351 E. Main St., reported at 11:08 a.m. Feb. 13 theft of money from his business.

23 A caller reported that at 10:05 p.m. Feb. 13 at 2100 E. Moreland Blvd. that someone went through the caller's vehicle and stole items.

24 A woman called police at 4:55 p.m. Feb. 13 at 1012 Guthrie Road that she believed her reported father may be trying to threaten her by giving her hazardous dietary supplements. She believes he is doing this because she discovered her uncle is actually her father.

25 A caller at 7:48 a.m. Feb. 14 at 1829 Waterview Lane reported harassment. The caller said their vehicle had been egged while parked in the driveway.

The caller believes the suspect was a female who had been harassing her and according to the log, recently posted on Facebook something to the effect of "it is only murder if you find a body; otherwise it just a missing person."

26 A caller's purse was taken from her cart at Target, 2401 Kossow Road, at 11:22 a.m. Feb. 14.

27 A caller reported at 12:42 p.m. Feb. 15 at 113 Lasalle Street that her aunt's ex-boyfriend has been messaging her on Facebook and sending her texts threatening her property.

The caller's aunt's ex-boyfriend denied the allegations and claims that the caller is harassing him. Both parties were advised of their options.
