Police Report: May 1

1 A crying woman called police because she wanted officers to spend time with her at her apartment at 1219 S. Grandview Blvd. because she is not feeling well and doesn't like her caregiver. She was advised by police at 9:20 a.m. April 18 that this is not a police function and she should contact her caregiver about not feeling well and to get some rest.

2 A cellphone was stolen at Waukesha South High School, 401 E. Roberta Ave., prior to 2:06 p.m. April 18.

3 A woman at 3104 Kisdon Hill Drive reported at 5:46 p.m. April 18 getting threatening text messages from another woman who is seeing her ex-boyfriend.

4 A woman was cited for misuse of 9-1-1 after she called police to report a burglary at her apartment at 8:21 p.m. April 18 at 1915 Kensington Drive. The caller wasn't home and wouldn't tell police where she was and then turned off her phone. Contact made at the complex showed no signs of burglary.

5 Residents who were shooting off fireworks were advised of the ordinance at 8:40 p.m. April 18 at 736 Pleasant Street.

6 Excessive noise was reported at 4:24 a.m. April 19 at 811 S. East Ave. The occupants were very intoxicated and advised that a citation would be issued if police were called back.

7 A woman was physically injured by a man during an incident prior to 8:29 a.m. April 19 at an apartment at 150 S. Grand Ave. The suspect fled the scene the night before and the caller was unable to call police when it happened because the suspect broke her phone.

8 A cellphone was stolen from a vehicle parked in the garage at 1852 Davis Lane prior to 11:41 a.m. April 19.

9 A man's storage unit was entered prior to 5:10 p.m. April 19 at 717 Motor Ave. Screws were taken out and the caller believes items were missing.

10 Baseball equipment was stolen from the park at 2200 Madison St. prior to 6:53 p.m. April 19.

11 A 10-year-old called police at 8:42 p.m. April 19 saying her mom's live-in boyfriend was beating up her mom. Police found it was only a verbal argument and the mom said her daughter doesn't like her boyfriend and has tried to get him in trouble in the past.

12 Tires and rims were stolen from two SUVs prior to 10:28 a.m. April 20 from Boucher Cadillac of Waukesha, 2145 E. Moreland Blvd.

13 Gift cards and cigar lighters were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 1269 Woodview Drive overnight April 19-20.

14 A caller from the Parks and Recreation Department located a possible homeless encampment in the woods off the bike trail at 800 Sentry Drive at 5:39 p.m. April 20. The caller wanted it removed but wasn't sure if it was occupied. It was unoccupied upon police arrival.

15 A caller issued a noise complaint, citing loud music and people stomping at 7:55 p.m. April 20 at an apartment at 347 Dodie Drive. Police just found children watching TV at a reasonable level.

16 A mother called police at 8:29 p.m. April 20 because her 10-year-old daughter was uncontrollable and standing in the street spitting and throwing rocks at her. The girl was upset because she wanted to spend the night at a boy's house. The situation was mediated and the girl spent the night at her aunt's house.

17 Three to four people were fighting in the backyard at 10:04 p.m. April 20 at 1432 Big Bend Road with one man saying he was going to shoot someone. Police could not find any issues.

18 A caller complained of loud "vulgar rap music" in the area at 11:02 p.m. April 20 in the 300 block of E. Main St.

19 A fireworks complaint was issued by three callers with one of them hearing five loud bangs at 11:19 p.m. April 20 at 132 Cambridge Ave.

20 A domestic disturbance issue was reported at 12:27 a.m. April 21 at 1012 Caroline St. Upon police arrival, a woman was very intoxicated and unable and unwilling to provide officers with her reason for calling 9-1-1. She was emotional and became angry, calling officers "stupid" and "rookies." The man inside said the woman wanted to take a dog for a walk, but he would not let her due to the dog's energy and her intoxication level.

21 A stereo and other items, including CDs, were taken from a vehicle prior to 8:39 a.m. April 21 at 241 South St. The steering column was also damaged.

22 Tires and rims from vehicles were stolen prior to 10:36 a.m. April 21 at Boucher Chevrolet, 1421 E. Moreland Blvd.

23 A vehicle's windows were broken with a rock at 316 N. Grand Ave. between April 19 and 21.

24 A caller said a group of girls were beating up a couple of younger girls at 12:56 p.m. April 21 at 2016 Macarthur Road. The combat was mutual, police found, and the girls were fighting over a boy.

25 Subwoofers and an exhaust were stolen off a vehicle in the underground parking lot at 2014 S. East Ave. prior to 7:48 p.m. April 21.

26 A caller reported being battered by a woman on April 22 the day before at an apartment complex at 134 W. North St.

27 A GPS and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 12:51 p.m. April 22 at 1246 River Place Blvd.

28 A PlayStation 3, 20 to 30 PS3 games, an iPad and two watches valued at $1,520 were stolen from an apartment at 2831 N. University Drive the night before April 22. He was unsure if his apartment door was locked.

29 A group of kids threw eggs at a residence 4:47 p.m. April 22 at 719 Cheyenne Drive. They fled on foot.

30 Two packs of Sweet Tarts were found on the front porch of a man's home at 445 Kimberly Drive at 6:06 p.m. April 22. He thinks someone may be trying to entice his children. The caller didn't know if the candy had been tampered with or if it was even meant for his kids.

31 A business at 732 Clinton St. was broken into overnight April 22-23.

32 A bicycle was stolen from a residence prior to 2:10 p.m. April 23 at 1321 Hickory Drive.

33 Police were called to Horning Middle School, 2000 Wolf Road, after a white powder was found in a small bottle in a locker at 2:44 p.m. April 23. Upon investigation, it was determined to be a candy bottle.

34 A needle and spoon, which were believed to be drug paraphernalia, were found on the ground on the corner of White Rock Avenue and N. Hartwell Ave. at 4:01 p.m. April 23.

35 Two boys said two male subjects pulled a knife on them in Cutler Park, 301 Wisconsin Ave., at 7:05 p.m. April 23. The boys said they know who the suspects are.

36 Carroll University security was with a woman and her 4-year-old child in front of Frontier Hall after she fled her apartment at 323 Arlington St. at 2:07 a.m. April 24 because her boyfriend was "flipping out" and tearing the place apart by flipping over couches.
