1 A woman returning home from a vacation found her home at 1100 Buena Vista Ave. burglarized prior to 1:13 a.m. April 9. Her jewelry box was missing and a back window was kicked in for entry.
2 A new manager of the Waukesha Heart Institute, 1111 Delafield St., found a dead bat in a specimen bag in her bottom desk drawer prior to 9:21 a.m. April 9. She suspects it was a disgruntled former employee who was terminated from the business two days earlier.
3 Police were called at 4:57 a.m. April 10 to an apartment complex at 120 Cambridge Ave. because the caller said her male roommate was sleeping in the hallway and she didn't want him to enter the apartment when he wakes up because she said he can be "an angry drunk." Police told the woman the man has a right to come in when he wakes up.
4 A man in the computer area of the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., was swearing and shouting and threatening staff prior to 7:19 p.m. April 10.
5 A woman on 2420 Springdale Road reported at 12:02 a.m. April 11 that every other night around this time she can smell the odor of garbage burning in the area, but she can't see it from her patio, which faces Bluemound Road. Police said they could only smell fresh air.
6 A woman said her boyfriend was "really intoxicated" and bothering her prior to 12:26 a.m. April 11 at an apartment complex at 100 Corrina Blvd. Both subjects were under the influence of intoxicants and the woman was worried about the man having too much to drink.
7 A woman's ex stole her prescription pills prior to 8:04 a.m. April 11 at 512 E. Main St.
8 The window of a truck was broken prior to 9:15 a.m. April 11 at 1203 Wisteria Lane.
9 A train almost hit two men who were drinking on the east side of the tracks at 12:09 p.m. April 11 on the corner of East Broadway and Pleasant Street.
10 A fight that included a pushing-and-shoving match broke out over a basketball game prior to 8:26 p.m. April 11 on the corner of Frame Avenue and S. East Avenue. A boy threatened the caller, saying he was going to stab his family. One of the boys' moms became "extremely disorderly" upon being notified.
11 Graffiti was found on four buildings at 11:24 p.m. April 11 at 233 South St.
12 The tennis courts at Heyer Park, 1121 Heyer Drive, were vandalized with graffiti prior to 8:02 a.m. April 12.
13 A garage was spray-painted in red with the words "Enjoy my leftovers" prior to 8:10 a.m. April 12 at 1545 Pine St.
14 A butcher-type knife was found in the woods in the park area near the kids play area on the corner of Fox River Parkway and W. Sunset Drive at 10:21 a.m. April 12.
15 A man chased an attempted burglar out of his bedroom prior to 6:29 p.m. April 12 at 315 Arcadian Ave. The man found the suspect standing in his bedroom when he came home. the burglar jumped through a window and the man followed, cutting his head. The suspect got away.
16 Police were called at 8:33 p.m. April 12 for a man who was standing outside of the locked door at Subway, 215 W. Main St., staring at the employees. He was angry they closed early due to the weather. The man continued to pound on the doors and said he just wanted a sandwich, but none of the employees acknowledged him.
17 A lime green and black bike was stolen from an unlocked garage prior to 8:45 p.m. April 12 at 2010 Macarthur Road.
18 All four tires of a vehicle were slashed prior to 4:33 a.m. April 13 in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 2727 N. University Drive.
19 A woman's credit card was taken from her purse prior to 3:24 p.m. April 13 in her office at Merrill Hills Manor, 3217 Fiddlers Creek Drive. Attempted charges of approximately $1,800 were subsequently declined at Target in Milwaukee.
20 A woman called police at 12:38 a.m. April 14 because a man was being loud and not letting her sleep inside her residence at 212 N. Moreland Blvd. After police arrived, the woman said the man could stay if he was quiet.
21 A man was robbed by two males in a red SUV who took the caller's computer prior to 2:44 a.m. April 14 on the corner of White Rock Avenue and E. Moreland Blvd. The suspect had his hand in his pocket like he had a gun, the police log says.
22 Graffiti was found on the fourth-floor stairwell door of the parking ramp at 8:59 a.m. April 14 at 241 South St. with the words "Have a nice day."
23 A piccolo was taken prior to 8:17 p.m. April 14 at Carroll University, 100 N. East Ave.
24 A woman reported a man threatened to "take her off this Earth" at 8:19 p.m. April 14 at 1365 Josephine St. This has been an ongoing issue between the two.
25 Police responded to a possible domestic disturbance at 9:20 p.m. April 14 at 329 Born Place. A caller said a man and woman were yelling at each other and a baby was crying. Police just found a group of family and friends who were getting a little rowdy watching wrestling. Police advised them of the noise.
26 The window of a black Subaru was smashed and items inside were taken prior to 10:44 p.m. April 14 at 2513 Plaza Court.
27 A juvenile, banned from the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., was kicking other kids in the children's area of the library prior to 2:40 p.m. April 15. The boy was told to not return to the library until the end of his ban period in September.
28 A man at 2318 Hughes Lane said a female neighbor came over to his residence prior to 2:43 p.m. April 15 and accused him of dropping nails in the road. He told police he suspects she slashed his tire.
29 A male called police because his mother took his cellphone because of inappropriate Facebook posts prior to 3:15 p.m. April 15 in an apartment at 355 Dodie Drive. The mother said she took the phone because her son was not paying half of the bill.
30 A man reported a possible burglary and that items were moved around at his 1204 Lombardi Way residence prior to 9:26 p.m. April 15. Police found no damage or stolen items and said the man is still adjusting from a divorce.
31 Two housekeepers got into a fight and had to be separated prior to 7:51 a.m. April 16 at the Best Western Waukesha Grand, 2840 N. Grandview Blvd.
32 A woman called police at 1:14 p.m. April 16 because she said she was threatened by her neighbor over the use of the laundry room in their unit at 817 E. Main St. The neighbor said it was her wash day. The women were told to follow their laundry room schedules and to avoid contact with each other.
33 Three juveniles at 209 Hinman Ave. were aiming their BB guns at cars at 3:27 p.m. April 16.
34 Cash totaling $80 stolen was taken from a woman's purse while she was at work at Dairy Queen, 1529 E. Racine Ave., prior to 5:13 p.m. April 16.
35 A caller is having ongoing problems with several teenagers running through her yard late at night at 1817 Michael Drive. Prior to 8:41 p.m. April 16 the kids threw rocks at her windows. The home has also been previously egged.
36 Four to five teenagers were seen egging a house at 9:25 p.m. April 16 at 1733 Cottonwood Drive.
37 An intoxicated mother called police at 12:23 a.m. April 17 because she did not want to confront her son about playing loud music in his room in an apartment at 806 Scott Ave. She wanted police to do it.
38 A catalytic converter was cut from a vehicle prior to 7:32 a.m. April 17 at Lone Rock Services LLC, 402 Travis Lane.
39 Tires were slashed prior to 9:12 a.m. April 17 at an apartment complex at 710 E. College Ave.
40 A mother called police at 9:58 a.m. April 17 about her daughter being disrespectful and not following the rules at an apartment at 500 Lincoln Ave. The mother was concerned her daughter might be hanging out with the wrong crowd.
41 Police were called at 11:20 a.m. April 17 to the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., where a man and woman were arguing over vaccinating their infant. They told police this is their meeting place for his visitation.
42 A woman called police at 5:13 p.m. April 17 because she is not happy that her son's ex-girlfriend was parking in the lot of their residence at 439 N. Moreland Blvd. and hanging around the property. The mother was given information on obtaining a restraining order against the ex-girlfriend, who was 28 when she and the boy (who was 16) started dating.
43 A woman in an apartment at 1219 S. Grandview Blvd. called police at 7:27 p.m. April 17 saying she wanted to run away to Chicago to see a Michael Jackson impersonator. She said she was having a bad day that included her computer breaking and was unhappy with her caretaker telling her what to do. The caretaker said she would stay with the woman for a while to prevent her from leaving.
44 A backpack containing medications was stolen from an unlocked vehicle prior to 9:35 p.m. April 17 at 1147 Dopp St.
45 Food that had been donated to a man was stolen by two males in the lobby of an apartment at 120 Corrina Blvd. at 9:59 p.m. April 17.
