Another laser tag facility is coming to Waukesha.

But this one will take you to Hollywood and allows participants to enter the world of police and military units.

iCOMBAT, 1023 Spring City Drive, opens Saturday.

iCOMBAT President Rick Jensen said iCOMBAT is a laser tag experience in a Hollywood-style movie set with special effects.

"Our equipment is so realistic that it is used by SWAT teams and special forces units around the world," Jensen said. "The competitions will take place in a Hollywood-style movie set of a Middle-Eastern city and be made even more intense by special light and sound effects."

According to a news release, iCOMBAT manufactures a patented laser tag equipment system that looks and feels just like the equipment used by military and police units around the globe.

The release adds that the facility is open for training by law enforcement and the military during weekdays and available for the general public on nights and weekends. iCOMBAT can be rented for parties, group outings and corporate events.

"Your first mission might be to protect our embassy during an attack," Jensen said. "Your next mission might be to clear the neighborhood of enemy forces."

The 15,000-square-foot facility has more than 30 one- and two-story buildings, a city square with a fountain and a road with vehicles for its participants.

There are two VIP areas for observers to watch the competition,. Scores and live footage of the missions will also be shown in the lobby on eight large television screens.

No one younger than 13 is allowed to compete; children between age 13 and 18 need parental permission to become a member.

This is the second laser tag facility in Waukesha. Laser Tag Adventure is on the city's northeast side, 1814 Dolphin Drive.
