Kelvin Schroeder Jewelers, a longtime jewelry store in Waukesha, has announced it will close.
Owner Cherie Schroeder says on the company's website she is retiring, and the store has begun liquidating its inventory with a going-out-of-business sale.
According to the company's website, the business, 2120 E. Moreland Blvd., in the Westbrook Shopping Center, has been in Waukesha for 78 years.
When contacted by the Waukesha Now, Schroeder, who did not indicate when the business is expected to close, declined requests for an interview.
