A thunderstorm once again left behind major damage in Waukesha.
It wasn't as widespread as last month when high winds uprooted many trees across the city and county and left thousands without power.
But one image from last night showed the similarity to the June 30 storm.
An ash tree was completely uprooted near the curb and fell onto a ranch home in the 300 block of N. Greenmeadow Drive.
As a result, city of Waukesha Forestry workers were seen Wednesday morning cutting down the branches from the storm that toppled the tree and brought down a number of branches near Waukesha North High School on Tuesday night.
The sudden storm, which only later resulted in a severe thunderstorm warning being issued, produced a freight-train like roar as it barreled through the area not far from Lowell Park.
This brief, but damaging storm came about a month after one of the most destructive storms the city has seen in years.
It took the city more than three weeks to clean up the city from that storm.
