Waukesha Police Report: July 17, 2014

1 A man was stabbed by his girlfriend with a pocketknife in an apartment at 1710 Elder St. at about 3:50 p.m. July 4. The victim was transported to Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

2 A woman at 1861 Meadow Lane reported at 4:39 p.m. July 4 that she was being harassed by her neighbors after they kept asking her what country she was from.

3 An intoxicated man said he was "jumped" and had $450 stolen from his wallet when he was trying to buy marijuana in a basement at 1917 Madera St. at 6:30 p.m. July 4.

The man said he met a Hispanic man the day before selling paintbrushes in an alley, and the man told him he also sells marijuana. When he went to the supposed dealer's basement, he was beat up by the man and two other men that resulted in a black eye and large gash on his right cheek. The man struggled to stay consistent with his story when questioned by police, according to their report.

4 Juveniles were putting fireworks on the door handles of Bethesda Elementary School, 730 S. University Drive, and lighting them and throwing them up on the school at about 7:45 p.m. July 4.

5 A person was urinating outside at 926 N. Barstow St. at about 1:45 a.m. July 5.

6 A vehicle was reported ransacked in the Municipal Parking Ramp, 241 South St., at 8:20 a.m. July 5.

7 A man in his 50s was walking around in his socks talking to himself and carrying a bowl of cereal in the 500 block of Wood Street at about 9:25 a.m. July 5.

8 A woman called police because of an ongoing problem with her neighbor trespassing onto her property at 800 W. St. Paul Ave. at 5:25 p.m. July 5. She also reported that her neighbor threw trash in her yard and mowed grass on her property.

9 A group of kids in five vehicles were driving up and down the street at 900 Greenmeadow Drive lighting off fireworks out of their vehicles at about 9:45 p.m. July 5.

10 A woman called police because fireworks in the 2100 block of Kensington Drive were upsetting her cat at 9:45 p.m. July 5.

11 Two males were "huffing" from an aerosol can as they sat in front of the old Blockbluster at Big Bend Road and East Sunset Drive at about 4:30 p.m. July 7.

12 A flower pot was reported stolen at 7:42 p.m. July 7 from a front yard at 1001 School Drive.

13 Four men were seen possibly smoking marijuana near a picnic table at 616 Rempe Drive at about 8:40 p.m. July 7.

14 Three men and one woman were drinking and urinating in the driveway at 120 Cambridge Ave. at about 10:36 p.m. July 7.

15 An employee at the Shell gas station, 1635 E. Main St., reportedly stole lottery tickets. The theft was reported at 12:15 p.m. July 8.

16 A caller reported people in a Jeep were throwing soda cups at pedestrians, including an older lady crossing the street at West Main and North Barstow streets at about 1:50 p.m. July 8.

17 People threw two eggs into Buchner Pool, 223 Oakland Ave., at about 2:15 p.m. July 8.

18 A woman reported at 6:01 p.m. July 8 that her iPad was stolen from her car at 1521 Big Bend Road.

19 A woman's TV was missing and her radio was tipped over in her apartment at 2101 Kensington Drive. She reported the incident at 9:21 p.m. July 8. Her patio door was unlocked.

20 A gun was stolen from a man's vehicle outside an apartment complex at 132 Cambridge Ave. at about 5:45 a.m. July 9.

21 Someone broke into a residence through a basement window at 935 Dana Lane overnight July 9-10 and stole $125 in cash and an iPad.

22 Two iPads, a cellphone and other items were stolen from a residence at 2401 Leslie Lane. The burglary occurred sometime overnight July 9-10.

23 The side door of a garage at 2407 Riverton Drive was pried open and items were stolen from the garage. The incident was reported at 8:47 a.m. July 9.

24 A wedding ring was reported stolen from a vehicle at 818 Eales Ave. at 4:40 p.m. July 9.

25 Two groups of juveniles got into an argument after both sides alleged the other was using racial slurs at 328 W. Newhall Ave. just after 7 p.m. July 9.

26 A homeless man was camping out on the west side of the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., just before 8 a.m. July 10. He was advised that he would receive a citation for loitering if police were called again.

27 An intoxicated man passed out was removed from the Alano Club, 318 W. Broadway, at about 4:40 p.m. July 10.

28 A group of male juveniles were in the skate park at 400 Spring St. making "cat calls" at young girls, including the caller's 12-year-old daughter, at about 5:20 p.m. July 10.

29 A 17-year-old was caught smoking marijuana and fighting with his mom at 609 Grove St. at about 9:10 p.m. July 10.

30 A woman said her husband was bleeding from his nose and mouth and needed an ambulance at 308 S. Grand Ave. just after 1 a.m. July 11. But the man was yelling in the background "f*** you! I'm going to bed!" The woman was advised to leave him alone.

31 A locked vehicle's window was smashed and a wallet was stolen at 2816 Woodridge Court before 5:42 a.m. July 11.
