Waukesha Police Report: July 10, 2014

1 A man called police after seeing two Hispanic males in a white Mini Cooper with an Illinois license plate talking on their cellphones at the corner of Arcadian Avenue and Pleasant Street at 9:50 a.m. June 26. The caller said he felt it was suspicious due to drug problems in the neighborhood.

2 CDs and money were taken from an unlocked vehicle at 241 South St. on the second level of the parking ramp just before 10 a.m. June 26.

3 A driveway was egged at 2203 Patrick Lane, and self-tapping screws were put in the cracks of the driveway before 12:15 p.m. June 26.

4 Police were called to the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., after a drunk man returned after being asked to leave at about 3:40 p.m. June 26. He was told he would be arrested for trespassing if he returns.

5 A caller reported at 5:07 p.m. June 26 that a 12-year-old neighbor boy placed his penis on the shoulders of the caller's 8- and 18-year-old daughters at 1434 Big Bend Road last winter.

6 A child's BMX-style bike was stolen from the front porch of a home at 2100 Macarthur Road before 11:18 p.m. June 26.

7 A vehicle's window was broken and a wallet was stolen in the 2900 block of Golf Road at about 12:30 a.m. June 27.

8 A man reported at 11:40 a.m. June 27 that a male in his 60s walks around naked all the time at a rooming house at 332 Wisconsin Ave. He said the man does this in all areas of the residence and that it has been going on for 13 years, but everyone living there is afraid to say something.

9 A small ceramic bird bath was stolen from a woman's front walkway that leads up to her condo at 2119 E. Broadway, before 12:41 p.m. June 27.

10 A residence at 908 Arcadian was broken into before 9:10 p.m. June 27. A flat-screen TV was missing, as was food from the pantry and freezer.

11 A domestic disturbance issue was reported at 2901 Tanglewood Drive at about 11 p.m. June 27. According to police, there was no reason to arrest the man, who was just angry over the CD player in his vehicle not working and he began swearing and smacked the dashboard.

12 Three males were cited for urinating along the river at 926 N. Barstow St. at about 2:15 a.m. June 28.

13 An iPod was stolen from Buchner Park, 231 Oakland Ave., before 2:37 p.m. June 28.

14 Suspicious items at the intersection of North Hartwell Avenue and East Main Street were reported after someone smelled a strong odor coming from a bucket on the side of the road at 2:38 p.m. June 28. The caller thought maggots were inside the bucket. Police just found a bucket of dead fish.

15 A female was thrown to the ground by her boyfriend and then dragged by his car at 400 N. Grand Ave. just after 1 a.m. June 29.

16 A woman was urinating in front of the Waukesha County Museum, 101 W. Main St., at about 2:45 a.m. June 29.

17 A back window to a vehicle was smashed at 127 Madison St. at about 1:35 p.m. June 29.

18 A woman found a man in her house, 1561 Dover Drive, smiling at her at 1:45 p.m. June 29. He said he was her neighbor and then left.

19 A fight occurred at a Speedway, 521 S. Grand Ave., and one of the men pulled out a handgun at 7:05 p.m. June 29. The men got away.

20 A spare tire was stolen from a locked vehicle at 233 Wilson Ave. before 7:38 p.m. June 29.

21 A flat-screen TV and telephone were stolen from a residence at 327 Arlington St. before 7:56 p.m. June 29.

22 A woman was punched by her brother after she asked him for a cigarette at 1321 E. Wabash Ave. at about 12:20 a.m. June 30.

23 A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 2926 River Valley Road before 8:08 a.m. June 30.

24 A window fell out of the Kendal Lofts apartment complex, 456 W. Main St., and landed on cars at about 7:25 p.m. June 30.

25 A woman said her 2-year-old son was hit by her neighbor's son at an apartment at 1820 S. Grand Ave. at about 6:50 p.m. July 1. Both mothers got into a yelling match and slapped one another. Officers attempted to speak with the neighbor boy but he hit an officer and made a gesture with his hand simulating a gun, saying "pow pow."

26 A woman at 439 N. Moreland Blvd. called police at about 10:20 p.m. July 1 because she gave her son $20 to get food, but when he came home he didn't have the food or the money.

27 A black pickup truck's window was smashed at the Super 8 Waukesha, 2510 Plaza Court, at about 10:30 p.m. July 1.

28 The owner of Waukesha Mixed Martial Arts, 1111 S. West Ave., was being disorderly and pushing people around in what appeared to be a property dispute over a T-shirt press machine at 4:30 p.m. July 2, according to police.

29 Police were called after a neighbor heard a child yelling "Mommy, wake up" in the 1000 block of Pearl Street at about 2:48 a.m. July 3. Police learned the 5-year-old was trying to get his mom to make him macaroni and cheese. She was not responding to him to try to get him to go to bed.

30 A vehicle had some type of grease on its door handles and near the gas tank, and there also appeared to be spit on the caller's windows in the parking ramp at 241 South St. at about 10:20 a.m. July 3.

31 A caller received harassing, vulgar text messages at 421 N. West Ave. at 5:21 p.m. July 3 from her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend after she notified the ex-boyfriend that their child's diaper rash went unchecked.

32 A woman said her cockatoo was let out in her apartment and people played with her son's games and messed up the caller's bed at 2407 Willowood Drive before 5:42 p.m. July 3 while she was away. Nothing was reported missing.

33 A woman across the street hit the caller's son at 328 W. Newhall Ave. and called him the "N" word, among other racial slurs at 7:52 p.m. July 3. The boy's mom and the other woman were arguing and swearing at each other when police arrived.

34 People were urinating outside at 926 N. Barstow St. at about 2 a.m. July 4.
