Celebrate Fourth of July with fireworks

City of Waukesha

Parade: 11 a.m. July 4

The parade starts at Cutler Park, 321 Wisconsin Ave., then travels west on Wisconsin, to West Avenue, north to Main Street, east to Buckley, north to Baxter Street, then northeast to the Schuetze Recreation Center in Frame Park.

Fireworks: 9:30 p.m. July 4, Waukesha County Expo Grounds, 1000 Northview Road. Grounds will open at 7 p.m.

City of Delafield

Parade: 10 a.m. July 4

Delafield American Legion Post 196 sponsors the annual parade starting at Main and Dopkins, proceeding east on Main Street to Lapham Peak Road, south to the Legion grounds. Activities after the parade include a flag retirement ceremony, judging of decorated bikes and refreshments.

Fireworks: Dusk, July 5, over Lake Nagawicka (rain date July 6)

Village of Hartland

Hartland's Hometown Celebration: June 27-29, Nixon Park

5 to 11 p.m. Friday, June 27:Events include an arts and crafts fair (4 to 8:45 p.m.), Audacious Beer and Barbecue Celebration tasting event (6:30 to 8 p.m.), Hartland Community Band concert (7 to 9 p.m.), fireworks (9:30 p.m.) and live music by Andrea & The Mods (9:30 to 11 p.m.)

Noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 28: Events include an arts and crafts fair (noon to 8:45 p.m.), Lake Country Rotary's Family Fun Walk (noon to 2:30 p.m.), Premier Beer and Barbecue tasting event (3 to 6 p.m.), Night of the Barrels (5:30 to 11 p.m.), live music by Piles of Rhythm (7 to 11 p.m.)

1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 29: Events include Empty the Barrels (1 to 4 p.m.), Hometown Celebration Parade (1:30 p.m.), live music by Witness Protection (2 to 4 p.m.)

Noon to 8 p.m. June 29: Salute to Veterans includes the parade (1:30 p.m.) held by Hartland American Legion Post 294 in conjunction with the Hartland Hometown Celebration. Parade attendees are invited to the Post after the parade to enjoy sweet corn, brats, beverages and Music by the Pontiac Blues Band.

City of Oconomowoc

Fireworks: 9 p.m. July 5, Fowler Park

Parade: 4 p.m. July 5, from Roosevelt Field through downtown Oconomowoc to Fowler Park, 500 Oakwood Ave.

Okauchee Lake

Fireworks: July 5

The Venetian Night lighted boat parade will start the event at about 9 p.m. followed by fireworks. The display will be set off from the island between the Golden Mast Restaurant and The Hideaway on Okauchee Lake.

Village of Pewaukee

Parade: 4 p.m. July 4

The parade starts in downtown Pewaukee from Prospect Avenue, then travels down Wisconsin Avenue to Village Park.

Water ski show: 6:45 p.m., Pewaukee's Lakefront Park

Fireworks: Dusk, July 4, Pewaukee lakefront.

Stone Bank

Festival: 3 p.m. July 3, Stone Bank Community Park, W335 N6983 Stone Bank Road

Parade: 11 a.m. July 4, starting at Stone Bank School and ending at Stone Bank Community Park. A festival will follow, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with food, games and entertainment for the whole family.
