June 30, 2014

1 An apartment at 117 South St. was broken into prior to 1:07 p.m. June 20.

2 A woman was battered by a co-worker at the Golden Corral, 1673 Arcadian Ave., prior to 1:20 p.m. June 20.

3 A caller reported a male and female were having "relations" in a car parked in the alley way at 215 South St. at 4:55 a.m. June 21. Police found both individuals clothed and talking in the car.

4 Stereos and speakers were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 1221 Lambeth Road prior to 11:38 a.m. June 21.

5 An elderly woman was confused and looking in cars for her husband at 725 N. Glenn Drive prior to 4:46 p.m. June 21.

6 A pickup truck with juveniles in the bed of the truck was driving around 1620 E. Main St., lighting off fireworks and giving people finger gestures, at 8:44 p.m. June 21.

7 A fireworks complaint was issued for a residence at 1710 Minor Lane at 9:59 p.m. June 21.

8 A home was entered through a back window and a purse was stolen off the dining room table at 405 E. Wabash Ave. overnight June 21-22. A neighbor found the purse in their backyard and everything was still in it except for a few dollars.

9 An iPhone and two wallets were taken from inside a house, 335 S. Hartwell Ave., overnight June 21-22. There were no signs of forced entry but a basement door was found slightly opened.

10 Two vehicles parked in a garage were entered and sunglasses, an iPod and notebook with work information were taken at 328 Windsor Drive prior to 10:32 a.m. June 22.

11 Paint was thrown on a car and all over the driveway at 224 Stewart Hill Drive prior to 11:07 a.m. June 22.

12 A 2-year-old child at 1432 Oakdale Drive was wandering in the street alone about 11:20 a.m. June 22.

13 An unlocked vehicle was broken into and several items were stolen at 934 Genesee St. prior to noon June 22.

14 A pistol was stolen from a locked truck at 822 Oakland Ave. just after 1 p.m. June 22.

15 A Garmin GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage at 407 E. Newhall Ave. prior to 1:40 p.m. June 22.

16 The back of the vacant Kmart building at 120 E. Sunset Drive was spray-painted with graffiti prior to 4:54 p.m. June 22.

17 Items were stolen from a vehicle in a parking lot at 930 Clinton St. prior to 7:54 p.m. June 22.

18 About $400 in cash was stolen from a woman's purse while she was walking her dog at 120 Corrina Blvd. about 8 p.m. June 22. The woman said she set her purse down on a bench and about 15 to 30 minutes later the money was gone.

19 A woman was reportedly out of control and punching people at 125 McCall St. about 1:50 a.m. June 23.

20 About $150 was stolen from a cash box at 413 Nail Studio, 496 W. Main St., during a burglary prior to 10:29 a.m. June 23.

21 A laptop, an Xbox game system, cigarettes and change were stolen from a residence at 724 Maple Ave. about noon June 23.

22 A door at Fox River Mart Bait & Tackle, 279 W. Main St., was broken and money was stolen about 1:15 p.m. June 23.

23 A irate woman called police after her neighbor blew grass clippings all over her driveway after mowing their lawn at 339 Morey St. just after 5 p.m. June 23. This was the third time in the last month that a caller at that address was upset with her neighbor regarding lawn mowing.

24 Tires were stolen off a vehicle at 200 W. North St. about 5:40 p.m. June 23.

25 A neighbor threw a cigarette butt onto a lawn at 474 N. Hine Ave. about 7:45 p.m. June 23 and when the caller told him to pick it up, the neighbor said "kiss my a**."

26 A caller said he was bit and scratched and had ketchup squirted over his clothes by his ex-wife while he was in the basement at 636 E. College Ave. about 8:30 p.m. June 23.

27 A house at 2847 Emslie Drive was littered with toilet paper prior to 10:30 p.m. June 23.

28 A man reportedly beat up a woman at an apartment at 701 Morgan Ave. about 11:15 p.m. June 23. The woman was bleeding and had scrape marks on her face and possibly a cracked rib.

29 An Xbox was stolen from a bedroom at 412 Carriage Drive prior to 9:25 a.m. June 24.

30 A vehicle's windows were broken at 2107 Kensington Drive overnight June 23-24.

31 A storage locker was broken into for the third time and Christmas decorations and ornaments were stolen at 1925 Bonnie Lane prior to 10:33 a.m. June 24.

32 Juveniles in a jeep at 601 E. College Ave. were throwing eggs at people at Buchner Pool, 223 Oakland Ave., about 2:25 p.m. June 24.

33 A week after her vehicle was egged, a woman reported that she had ice cream thrown at her car at 2208 Sunkist Ave. prior to 7:08 p.m. June 24.

34 An apartment was burglarized at 417 N. Washington Ave. prior to 10:31 p.m. June 24.

35 Two fireworks complaints were reported at 2119 Davidson Road about 12:30 a.m. June 25. A complaint at this address for fireworks at Hillcrest Park was reported June 26.

36 A burnt spoon and syringes were found in the restroom at the Expo Citgo gas station, 1700 Pewaukee Road, at 3:20 p.m. June 25.

37 A vehicle window was smashed in a parking lot at 501 Wisconsin Ave. prior to 4 p.m. June 25.

38 A fireworks complaint was reported at 347 Gascoigne Drive after the suspects shot two off and then ran into the house at 9:50 p.m. June 25.

39 A car full of intoxicated juveniles was driving around at 2000 S. West. Ave. at 2:38 a.m. June 26 and yelling derogatory comments over a bullhorn. The driver was cited for operating after a suspended license.
