Waukesha Police Report: May 29

1 A house was burglarized at 911 Sweetbriar Drive prior to 11 a.m. May 14. The back door was busted in and the house was ransacked.

2 A vehicle's window was broken and items were stolen inside the municipal parking ramp, 241 South St., prior to 2:43 p.m. May 14.

3 A caller thinks the people inside a vehicle at 1824 Oakdale Drive about 7 p.m. May 14 might be "making out" and doing other sexual things. The vehicle had been parked on the street for the past 20 minutes and the windows were starting to fog up. Police, however, found an unoccupied vehicle with tinted windows.

4 A woman was slapped in the back of the head by a male co-worker at 262 W. Broadway prior to 11:59 a.m. May 15. The man was told by his manager that she would give him a dollar if he hit the woman.

5 A child's iPod was stolen at St. Joseph's Catholic School, 818 N. East Ave., prior to 2:08 p.m. May 15.

6 A clerk at Citgo, 300 W. Sunset Drive, stole about $340 from the register prior to 7:44 p.m. May 15.

7 A wallet was stolen from an unlocked pickup truck at 606 Beechwood Ave. prior to 10:53 p.m. May 15.

8 A caller believed her power to her apartment was cut on purpose by another tenant at 240 Harrison Ave. at 9:40 a.m. May 16. She told police she was going to go downstairs and take matters into her own hands which will result in her "going to jail."

9 An iPad was stolen from Waukesha North High School, 2222 Michigan Ave., prior to 5:37 p.m. May 16.

10 A caller reported that an old roommate at 706 Oak Ridge Court stole $1,000 and a watch valued at $7,800 prior to 6:47 p.m. May 16.

11 A father of a fourth-grade student reported that a student at Lowell Elementary School, 140 N. Grandview Blvd., brought a knife to school on May 16 and was waving it around and pointing it at other students during morning recess. The knife was taken from the child and the school handled the situation.

12 A purse containing a driver's license, credit cards, $50 in cash and a cellphone was stolen from the Monkey Joe's inflatable play center, 2040 Bluemound Road, prior to 9:14 p.m. May 16.

13 A domestic disturbance was reported at 340 Harrison Ave. prior to 10:13 p.m. May 16 after the caller heard a man yelling, slamming doors and kids crying. Police just found a few young adults outside looking for their dog. The house was also quiet.

14 A female was bleeding from the head after being thrown against a china cabinet allegedly by her boyfriend at 205 S. Grandview Blvd. just before 1 a.m. May 17.

15 A tablet computer was stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, 725 American Ave., prior to 9:04 a.m. May 17.

16 Coins were taken from unlocked vehicles at 407 Sonya Drive prior to 12:56 p.m. May 17.

17 A man had tobacco products on the table by a computer at the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., prior to 3 p.m. May 17. After an employee told him to put the tobacco away, he started yelling at them. The man, who has a history of bad behavior at the library, was subsequently removed from the library and told that he is banned from the library until July 1.

18 Police were accidentally called to 1012 Caroline St. at 3:51 a.m. May 18 after a woman said she was playing with her dog and the dog rolled over onto the phone.

19 A vehicle parked on the street at 2510 Pendleton Place was littered with Silly String prior to 10:27 a.m. May 18. The caller said this is an ongoing problem.

20 A couple was fighting after having an argument over the woman's texts from another man at 804 Minaka Drive at 8:35 p.m. May 18. The woman, who said her boyfriend was physical with her, was impaired from marijuana and kept changing her stories about what happened.

21 A noise complaint of people running around and stomping was reported just after midnight on May 19 in an apartment at 2102 Macarthur Road. Police found the noise was coming from someone trying to catch a mouse in a kitchen. In doing so, he accidentally knocked over a kitchen chair. He apologized for the noise.

22 A caller's unlocked vehicle was gone through at 543 Elizabeth St. prior to 9:05 a.m. May 19.

23 Tires on 20 vehicles at Auto House Waukesha, 1611 Lincoln Ave., were punctured prior to 10:14 a.m. May 19.

24 Laundry machines were damaged and coins were taken at 1212 S. Grand Ave. at 11:37 a.m. May 19.

25 Wheels and tires were stolen from Boucher Buick GMC, 1907 E. Moreland Blvd., prior to 12:09 p.m. May 19.

26 A vehicle was stolen from Griffin Ford, 1940 E. Main St., within the last two weeks prior to May 19.

27 A non-motorized scooter was stolen in the underground parking area at 120 Cambridge Ave. prior to 4:08 p.m. May 19.

28 A car was scratched and dented, one of its back lights was broken and a license plate was stolen at a residence at 229 Mountain Ave. prior to 5:27 a.m. May 20.
