Waukesha Police Report: May 8

1 A light pole fell on a vehicle at 1922 Madera St., damaging the driver's side doors, hood and side view mirror, at 12:15 a.m. April 24. The wooden light pole appeared to have deteriorated at its base.

2 An underage drinking party where people were using beer bongs and throwing things off the balcony was reported at 141 S. James St. at 12:03 p.m. April 25. Police, however, said the party didn't appear to have underage people.

3 A woman called police at 12:22 p.m. April 25 and said her neighbors keep coming into her house at 941 E. Main St. and taking things and listening to her conversations.

4 People were holding a sign that says "honk, will drink" to passing cars at 12:35 p.m. April 25 at 427 E. Broadway. Police told the people to not yell at traffic.

5 A female caller said her ex-husband was abusing her while she was trying to pick up her children at 1:56 p.m. April 25 at 2336 Bramblewood Ct. The woman was emotional over issues regarding child custody and past behavior of her ex-spouse.

6 A domestic disturbance was reported at 1613 S. Prairie Ave. at 3:41 p.m. April 25 after someone heard people screaming and yelling. Police made contact with the homeowner, who was just watching scary movies at a loud volume with children with the door open.

7 A bench was taken from the area around 477 W. Main St. and thrown into the Fox River prior to 4:32 p.m. April 25.

8 A group of men, who had open intoxicants, were yelling at people walking by and urinating in public at 141 North West Barstow St. prior to 5:52 p.m. April 25.

9 Homeless men were camping under the bridge at 8:42 p.m. April 25 in the 400 block of W. Main St.

10 A loud underage drinking party and excessive noise was reported at 436 Maple Ave. at 10:02 p.m. April 25. The noise came from people cheering after the Chicago Blackhawks' playoff hockey game. The party was filtering out as police arrivde and noise was not considered excessive.

11 A caller's money and driver's license were stolen at a house party on Cook Street prior to 11:37 p.m. April 25.

12 An altercation ensued at the Lincoln Pub, 512 Lincoln Ave., after a man was called racial slurs by another at 1:04 a.m. April 26. The aggressors were gone upon police arrival.

13 A bike was stolen from the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., prior to 1:38 p.m. April 26.

14 Police were called to 318 Darlene Drive for a man riding his ATV up and down the roadway at a high rate of speed at 5:38 p.m. April 26. The man said this was the first time he has fired up his ATV and wanted to take it out for "a spin."

15 Three teenagers were seen behind the skateboard park at 400 Spring St. smoking narcotics at 7:13 p.m. April 26.

16 A man wanted a woman, whom he owns the house with, removed from the residence because she is tearing up the house and being physically violent at 301 S. Grand Ave. at 8:12 a.m. April 27. The woman then began yelling down the street and let the man's dog off the leash.

17 Two men are removing items from a trash bin in the yard of a fire-damaged home in the 1100 block of Motor Ave at 11:40 a.m. April 27.

18 An iPhone was stolen from Waukesha Skateland, 1931 E. Main St., prior to 1:35 p.m. April 27.

19 A woman's clothes and PlayStation were stolen from her apartment, 1514 Big Bend Road, prior to 1:45 p.m. April 27. She believes a friend who had been previously living in the apartment broke in and stole the items.

20 A vehicle's window was smashed with a rock and its in-dash stereo was taken in the parking garage, 241 South St., overnight April 27-28.

21 A domestic disturbance issue was reported at 329 Born Place at 10:17 p.m. April 27. Police said there were no altercations but just loud television and kids running around the house.

22 A caller got into a verbal altercation with the manager at George Webb Restaurant, 139 E. Sunset Drive, after he allegedly found a screw in his french fries prior to 11:23 p.m. April 27. The complaint was unsubstantiated and the manager wishes to ban the customer from the restaurant.

23 Two females, who were drinking alcohol earlier, were yelling at each other and at one point choking each other at an apartment at 2827 N. University Drive at 2:54 a.m. April 28.

24 An office at Waukesha Recycling Company, 1001 Tesch Court, was broken into prior to 3:18 a.m. April 28.

25 A bicycle was stolen at 300 W. North St. prior to 4:01 p.m. April 28.

26 An iPhone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 1600 E. Sunset Drive at 7:26 a.m. April 29.

27 A PlayStation was stolen from a residence at 1420 Garfield Ave. at 11:22 a.m. April 29.

28 A mother reported her adult son, who she said is on heroin, stole an iPad and other items from her house at 633 Madison St. prior to 12:42 p.m. April 29. She did not wish a complaint for the theft but an appointment was set up for rehab.

29 Mayonnaise was spread all over a woman's vehicle at an apartment complex at 2031 Dixie Drive prior to 3:37 p.m. April 29.

30 A woman said she was in an altercation with her mother and sister at 1015 W. Sunset Drive prior to 6:52 a.m. April 30.

31 A business at 100 Wilmont Drive was broken into prior to 10:04 a.m. April 30.

32 A since-suspended employee from Linden Grove Health Care Center, 425 N. University Drive, was caught on video stealing scrap metal prior to 10:54 a.m. April 30.

33 A box of vehicle parts, an iPod and gym bag were stolen from the trunk of a vehicle while repairs were being made at 1344 S. West Ave. prior to 12:07 p.m. April 30.

34 Police were called to a possible domestic disturbance at 1916 Summit Ave. at 7:38 p.m. April 30. The incident was a verbal argument over a son not unloading the dishwasher.

35 Gang symbols were etched into a bathroom mirror at the Waukesha License & Registration, 2019 Golf Road, prior to 3:41 p.m. May 1.

36 A man has had a nail put in his new truck's tire on two different occasions while at work, Cooper Power Systems, 2300 Badger Drive, prior to 6:06 p.m. May 1. He feels it's being intentionally done.
