Police Report: March 13

1 Police were called at 9:33 p.m. Feb. 26 to an apartment at 1906 Madera St. because the caller was upset with a neighbor in a nearby unit who was washing clothes "after hours," per the sign posted on the door to the basement. The caller advised that this is not a police matter and to contact the building manager. The caller said the manager won't do anything about the issue.

2 Police were called at 8:44 a.m. Feb. 27 to an apartment at 1855 S. West Ave. after a caller reported a domestic disturbance after hearing loud pounding. The claims were unfounded, as the residents simply had the volume turned up on the TV while watching "Dr. Phil."

3 A woman was having an affair when her fiance entered the house through an unlocked window at 12:48 p.m. Feb. 27 at 1325 Garfield Ave. The man confronted the woman and her new mate.

4 A cleaning lady reportedly stole $300 from a residence at 2120 Penhurst Way at 2:14 p.m. Feb. 27.

5 A caller reported being punched in the face by a man at 4:26 p.m. Feb. 27 at 234 Frame Ave.

6 A burglary was reported at Advance Auto Parts, 1617 Summit Ave., at 6:53 a.m. Feb. 28. The store was broken into through the air duct vent on the roof. Items were taken inside the building.

7 A manager at PDQ called police at 10:03 a.m. Feb. 28 to report that an employee was reportedly taking money from the register at the convenience store/gas station, 2106 S. West Ave.

8 A caller in the 2100 block of Delafield Street called police at 12:03 a.m. March 1 to report hearing female voices screaming one house west of their address. Police found that it was not a domestic incident, as it was the children who live there and some of their friends screaming while playing a game where they run out in the snow without their shoes on to see who could do it longer. The children were told to stay inside the rest of the night.

9 A man had to be removed from the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., at 2:33 p.m. March 1 after passing out in the magazine area with a cigarette in his hand. He was intoxicated and regularly needs to be removed from the library.

10 A girl was taken to Waukesha Memorial Hospital, 725 American Ave., at 3:35 p.m. March 1 after admitting to her mom that she took some of her mom's prescribed medication. She told her mom she did it to get high and see what it was like.

11 An employee found handgun bullets by a gas pump at 9:59 p.m. March 1 at a Kwik Trip, 924 Fleetfoot Drive.

12 A clerk went to restock the refrigerator of a second-floor room at The Clarke Hotel, 314 W. Main St., and found bags of marijuana and lines of cocaine on the counter in a room at 11:28 p.m. March 2.

13 A man called police at 3:26 p.m. March 2 to have his ex-girlfriend removed from his residence at 316 Rivera Drive because she refused to help him do his laundry.

14 An apartment was burglarized at 1000 Pewaukee Road at 12:35 a.m. March 3. The caller said a woman was supposed to be keeping an eye on her boyfriend's apartment while he was incarcerated.

15 A caller reported that at 9:55 a.m. March 3 a 16-year-old student at Harvey Philip Alternative Charter School, 621 W. College Ave., was in possession of marijuana.

16 Police were called at 5:39 p.m. March 3 to an apartment at 1915 Kensington Drive because a man passed out in the bathroom after drinking and smoking a bowl of marijuana.

17 Police were called at 12:13 a.m. March 4 to an apartment at 332 Wisconsin Ave. because a man had been battered by his brother.

18 A caller reported that at 9:41 a.m. March 4 two men were outside the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., drinking Pepsi and brandy and were then in the library.

19 Police were called at 1:49 p.m. March 4 at 212 E. St. Paul Ave. for two men causing problems, as one of them urinated on the building outside.

20 Police were called at 8:44 p.m. March 4 after three children were loitering near the main entrance of the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., and asked the caller if he had any marijuana to sell.

21 Police were called at 3:06 p.m. March 5 across the street from an apartment at 1202 Woodbury Commons for a man standing in front of the window naked who was "fondling himself."

22 A caller complained of a noise complaint at 10:06 p.m. March 5 at an apartment at 1925 Bonnie Lane. Police found the noise was from a couple "engaging in activity that caused one of them to be a little loud. Both were embarrassed and cooperative and agreed to keep the noise down in the future."

23 A caller reported at 8:06 a.m. March 6 in the 1700 block of Oakdale Drive that a 14-year-old neighbor boy had pornography on his iPad of his Facebook page. The incident was handled on the parental level, and the school was advised, as the iPad was used against school policy.

24 A fight was reported at 6:28 p.m. March 6 at 126 W. Broadway. The caller said she stopped by to get her purse and a male friend slapped her. Both parties were equally involved in provoking the fight, witnesses said.
