Police Report: March 6

1 A burglary was reported at 5:19 p.m. Feb. 22 at an apartment at 1915 Kensington Drive. The caller went to the basement to get a screwdriver to set up a "booby trap," and the woman could hear one of her neighbors enter her apartment; her rent check is now missing, among other items.

2 Drunken driving was reported at 7:38 p.m. Feb. 22 at 3801 Bayberry Drive. The man, whose car was swerving in the street and was unable to stay within the lanes, said he had two beers before driving.

3 A caller reported at 10:12 a.m. Feb. 23 that his vehicle was damaged at 150 S. Grand Ave. the night before. A window was broke by a BB gun shot. The man believes his ex-roommate committed the act.

4 A man called police at 1:59 p.m. Feb. 23 to report his ex-fiance was taking items from their shared residence at 1352 Dopp St. The caller said the woman was taking his property because of a dispute over the engagement ring. The woman also called police, requesting police presence because the man was yelling at her.

5 A caller reported the theft of a Kindle Fire at 3:10 p.m. Feb. 23 at 1611 White Rock Ave. The caller believed the person who has the item sold it for drugs as he is a known heroin user.

6 A woman called police at 7:38 p.m. Feb. 23 to report that her mother took her sweaters and some dresses from her apartment at 1804 Shepherd Court because she thought the outfits were "too sexy" for her to be wearing. The caller was advised of proper use for calling police.

7 Police were investigating blood drops at 11:27 p.m. Feb. 23 in an apartment at 128 Cambridge Ave. Police observed a red substance, which appeared to be blood, coming from the entrance to the building leading into a room. Officers contacted the resident, who said it was stage blood from a photo shoot earlier in the evening. The man showed pictures of the photo shoot and the stage blood.

8 A caller at 301 Frederick St. reported at 10:51 a.m. Feb. 24 that as he attempted to file his taxes they were rejected due to another person filing under the same social security number.

9 A man called police at 10:59 a.m. Feb. 24 to report that someone cut the brake lines on his vehicle at 538 Bluemound Road. The caller said he thinks he knows who did it, as he was receiving death threats after previously turning someone in to police.

10 A wallet was reported stolen from an unsecured gym locker at 1:39 p.m. Feb. 24 at Carroll University, 227 N. Barstow St.

11 License plates were stolen off the caller's Camaro that was parked in his driveway at 3:41 p.m. Feb. 24 at 214 W. Laflin Ave.

12 A woman called police at 5:44 p.m. Feb. 24 because she thought her 18-year-old daughter stole $550 while she was sleeping at her home, 1435 Victoria Drive. The daughter left a note saying she was leaving.

13 A caller reported at 5:59 p.m. Feb. 24 an ongoing problem with her neighbor at 234 Brook St. She said the neighbor yells at her daughter and harasses her through her window. The neighbor also complains about her dog not being on a leash and attempts to photograph the caller while taking her dog outside.

14 Harassment was reported at 6:25 p.m. Feb. 24 in an apartment complex at 1165 White Rock Ave. The caller said they received harassing/threatening text messages from a tenant. Police found no threatening texts. They found Bible verses.

15 Police responded to a domestic disturbance at 1611 White Rock Ave., at 11:03 p.m. Feb. 24 for a man who slammed his girlfriend's head into the wall. The caller said his son "went crazy," and he needed him out of his house. The father said his son was a drug addict, and he hit his girlfriend's head on some cabinets.

16 A caller reported that a man in his 60s at 4:09 a.m. Feb. 25 at 1505 Michigan Ave. threatened to kill his roommate. Police spoke with the man, who said he was frustrated with his living situation and being unable to smoke when he wanted. The man said he had no intention of hurting anyone or himself.

17 Coins were taken from an unlocked vehicle at 7:24 a.m. Feb. 25 at 1812 Oakdale Drive. The caller said this is an ongoing issue in the neighborhood.

18 A caller reported at 7:49 a.m. Feb. 25 that her vehicle, parked at 150 S. Grand Ave., had multiple windows shot at. The caller believes her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend did it.

19 A Taser, paperwork and tire gauges were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 9:03 a.m. Feb. 25 at 1816 Oakdale Drive.

20 A man called police at 10:48 a.m. Feb. 25 to report being assaulted at an apartment complex at 134 W. North St. The other individual called police as well to say it was mutually physical. Both men admitted to having a personality conflict, and the second caller admitted to getting physical.

21 Disorderly conduct was reported at 8:16 a.m. Feb. 26 at Waukesha South High School, 401 E. Roberta Ave.

22 Disorderly conduct was reported at 1:56 p.m. Feb. 26 at Waukesha West High School, 3301 Saylesville Road.

23 A man was battered at 5:15 p.m. Feb. 26 at 634 E. College Ave. The man had a laceration to his lip.

24 A caller and his wife said they could smell fumes in their building from construction equipment left running at 7:45 p.m. Feb. 26 at 912 Clinton St. They complained of all the dust on the sidewalk saying they are "huge OSHA violations" by not having the dust removed.
