Police Report: Feb. 6

1 Police responded to a harassment report after a woman's phone number was posted on Craigslist for "casual encounters" at 9:31 a.m. Jan. 23 at 821 E. Main St. The caller is a bartender and the man who posted the number is a regular customer at her downtown bar. According to the police log, the man has been hitting on the caller and she has shunned him. He has made crude/inappropriate comments about her to co-workers and then posted her number on Craigslist in an apparent retaliation for being "shunned." The man called police and admitted he placed the woman's name on Facebook along with provocative comments. Told police he will stop harassing her.

2 A 16-year-old girl was found with marijuana on her at 9:47 a.m. Jan. 23 at Waukesha South High School, 401 E. Roberta Ave. The police log states she was in the school's office and being cooperative.

3 Police were summoned at 1:24 p.m. Jan. 23 to a residence at 1227 Lambeth Road after a caller reported burglary. The complainant said its PlayStation 3, two Xbox consoles, a GameCube console, Nokia digital camera and wallet with about $103 were stolen.

4 Road rage was reported to police at 2:53 p.m. Jan. 23 on the corner of West St. Paul Avenue and West Sunset Drive after the driver in a Buick SUV was yelling and "whipped" soda at the caller's vehicle.

5 A resident at 1811 Kensington Drive called police at 11:56 p.m. Jan. 26 to report burglary. They said they came home to find two TVs stolen and think the burglary just occurred because their carpet is wet and think entry was gained through a patio door.

6 A resident at 441 W. Park Ave. called police at 9:18 p.m. Jan. 26 to report their apartment was ransacked and a screen was ripped open.

7 Theft of tires and rims from two Silverados at Boucher, 1421 E. Moreland Blvd., was reported at 10:29 a.m. Jan. 26.

8 A resident at 1811 Kensington Drive called police at 10:36 a.m. Jan. 25 to report their tires had been slashed.

9 Police responded to a call about a neighbor disturbance in the 2100 block of Mt. Vernon Drive at 8:49 a.m. Jan. 25. Neighbors were arguing about where a snow plow driver was moving snow. One resident said the plow driver tried to "run" his wife over and used profanities. A caller later said they were upset the plow was pushing snow to his side of the street so his wife went and stood in front of the plow as it was trying to clean a driveway. Police reported no violation of city ordinance and they were advised on their behavior.

10 Theft of an iPod from the waterpark at 2810 Golf Road was reported at 2:39 p.m. and theft of a wallet from the waterpark lockers was also reported at 2:11 p.m. Jan. 27.

11 A man attempted to steal a computer valued at $700 from Walmart, 2000 S. West. Ave. on Jan. 27. The caller said they were able to get the computer from the man before he left heading west on Highway 59.

12 A vehicle in an underground garage at 1813 Kensington Drive was reported burglarized at 7:21 a.m. Jan. 27. The caller said a work laptop, iPad and other items were taken.

13 A resident at 2139 Macarthur Road called police at 5:59 a.m. Jan. 29 to report their garage was burglarized and numerous items were stolen. They said there are also footprints leading to their neighbor's house.

14 A resident at 1915 Kensington Drive called police at 5:39 a.m. Jan. 30 to report people are stealing their rock collection and family treasures. Police could not find any signs of burglary and advised the resident.

15 A caller at 1101 Marlin Court called police at 10:25 p.m. Jan. 30 to report harassment. They said someone has been posting false ads on Craigslist for free things like boats and washer/dryer and now sex ads using their phone number. The caller said they are now receiving nude photos. Police advised the caller how to handle the situation by reporting it on Craigslist.

16 A resident at 1406 Elder St. called police at 8:21 a.m. Feb. 2 to report burglary. They said they woke up to find a window broken and a laptop, iPad and cash taken.

17 A basement window was reported broken at 8:26 a.m. Feb. 1 and wires were taken from inside 302 N. West. Ave.

18 The police were called at 11:48 p.m. Feb. 3 about "loud relations" in an apartment at 1811 Kensington Drive. The residents were advised to keep the noise down.

19 A man at Price Point Inn, 532 Bluemound Road, called police at 1:10 p.m. Feb. 3 because he believes someone was in his room. He said he found a clump of hair. Police could not find any signs of forced entry and reported the floor was "filthy."

20 Theft of tires was reported at 11:22 a.m. Feb. 3 at Boucher, 1907 Moreland Blvd. The caller reported damage to a vehicle as well.

21 Two batteries were reported stolen at 10:16 a.m. Feb. 3 from a truck at 1535 E. Moreland Blvd. The caller said they have a snow plowing contract and leave the truck parked at this location.

22 Theft of two sweaters from the gift shop at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, 725 American Ave., was reported at 8:28 a.m. Feb. 3.
