Child, 4, flown to hospital after being struck by vehicle in Waukesha
A 4-year-old child was struck by a vehicle about 11:20 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of E. Main St. in Waukesha and taken to a hospital by Flight for Life, police said.
Reports indicate the child chased a ball into the street before being struck, police said.
The child was treated by the Waukesha Fire Department and flown to Froedtert Hospital for treatment of possible head trauma.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the child stopped at the scene, police said.
