Fire destroys vacant Waukesha house

Waukesha — A vacant two-story house at 3609 Madison St. was destroyed in a fire reported about 12:50 a.m. Thursday, the Waukesha Fire Department said.

When firefighters arrived, the roof of the house was on fire and collapsing, the fire department said in a news release.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.

No one was injured.
