Waukesha — Police have called a Tuesday news conference to announce charges in the death of a 29-year-old woman who had been missing since Jan. 5.
Renee Marie Redmer, a mother of two, had been the subject of an extensive police search since family members reported her missing.
Waukesha police said the news conference Tuesday morning would cover 'a full account of her death' as well as criminal charges.
Police officials could not be reached for comment Monday.
Redmer, who police said had a history of drug abuse, was in court and pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor cocaine possession on the day of her disappearance.
Before announcing Tuesday's news conference, police had not previously disclosed that she was dead.
