An accident between a car and a motorcycle on Capitol Drive sent three people to the hospital today.
A husband and wife from Waukesha were driving eastbound on Capitol Drive about 8:50 a.m. when their motorcycle collided with a car entering Capitol Drive from Mitchell Park Drive. The car was driven by a teenage girl from Sussex.
Brookfield Fire Department paramedics treated the victims at the scene. The girl was taken to Elmbrook Memorial Hospital, and the two people on the motorcycle were transported Froedtert Hospital via Flight for Life helicopters.
Capitol Drive was close for about two hours, police said.
The accident remains under investigation. Police will not release the names of the drivers or passenger until later today or tomorrow.
