Waukesha - Waukesha police arrested a 48-year-old woman last night after she allegedly stabbed her ex-husband, Capt. Mark Stigler said today.
The man was taken to Waukesha Memorial Hospital were he was treated for his injuries.
Police were called to the 100 block of Garfield Ave. at 10:48 p.m. and found the woman intoxicated and the man lying in a pool of blood. Officers had removed the man from the residence earlier but he later came back. He went into the bedroom where he found the woman in bed with another man, Stigler said.
The man became angry and an altercation ensued. In an attempt to get the victim out of her life, she stabbed him, Stigler said.
Police are recommending the woman be charged with second degree reckless injury and bail jumping.
