Waukesha - A Waukesha woman charged last week with homicide in connection with a methadone overdose death is a suspect in another overdose death, according to subpoenas filed in Waukesha County Circuit Court.

Nina E. Pudil, 34, is suspected of providing methadone to Donald G. Arnold, 40, who was found dead March 31, 2007, at the Airport Lodge in the City of Pewaukee, where he lived.

If authorities tie her to Arnold's death, Pudil could face a charge of first-degree reckless homicide.

Pudil and Aaron B. Schmoller, 29, of Waukesha each were charged Friday with first-degree reckless homicide in the death of Nola K. Heinowski, 46.

Pudil is accused of selling liquid methadone to Heinowski, of Waukesha, who was found dead at her home Oct. 15.

Schmoller, who was in a methadone program at Quality Addiction Management in Waukesha, sold some of his methadone to Pudil, according to court records. Methadone is a narcotic used in treatment for heroin addiction.

Pudil requested toxicology results of Heinowski from the county's medical examiner's office, a subpoena states.

In the Arnold case, Pudil has admitted being with Arnold the night before he died, court records show.

According to the records:

Arnold drove Pudil to Quality Addiction Management, where she was in treatment, to pick up her dose of liquid methadone. The two then went to the Airport Lodge. Pudil told two people she shared her methadone with Arnold.

Investigators have filed subpoenas seeking records from Quality Addiction Management, the medical examiner's office and the county's Health and Human Services Department.

Last week, Pudil was charged in a separate case with eight drug-related charges, including maintaining a drug-trafficking place and delivery of oxycodone.
