It's sectional day for WIAA summer baseball teams.

By the end of the day the summer baseball field will be trimmed from 16 teams to four.

Who will be left standing and playing for a state title on Friday at Kapco Park in Mequon?

Follow our live blog as sports reporters from Lake Country Publications and NOW Newspapers are out at sectional games today in South Milwaukee, Germantown and Brookfield Central.  

Sports reporters JR Radcliffe, Steven L. Tietz, Andrew Gruman, John Rech and Chuck Delsman will be tweeting from various games today.

The sectional semifinal games we'll be at include the South Milwaukee Sectional that features Oak Creek vs. Franklin in the opener and Greendale vs. Muskego at approximately 1:30 p.m. The winners of those games face off at 4:30 p.m.

We'll also have coverage of the Waukesha North vs. Pewaukee sectional semifinal game at 1 p.m. The winner of that game will play the winner of the Marquette vs. Pius XI winner at 4:30 p.m. at Brookfield Central.

Also we'll have coverage of the Germantown Sectional which features West Bend West and Whitefish Bay at 10 a.m. and later Grafton and Menomonee Falls at 1:30 p.m. The winners of those games play at 4:30 p.m. at Germantown.
