Waukesha police report: June 23, 2016 issue

1A train conductor reported seeing a possibly intoxicated woman walking south on the railroad tracks around 7:14 a.m. June 10 near White Rock and Perkins avenues. The conductor told police the woman 'barely moved' for the train as it passed her. She wasn't drunk or injured when police found her, according to an incident report.

2A rock was thrown through a third-story Carroll University dormitory window around 10:51 a.m. June 10 in the 300 block of West College Avenue. No suspects or leads were mentioned in a police report.

3A regular customer at a local Mobil gas station, 1709 Summit Ave., reportedly stole an unspecified number of lottery tickets around 2:22 p.m. June 10 from the convenience store. According to a police report, the man, who was not identified, was caught on a surveillance camera stealing the tickets.

4An intoxicated man was shouting at residents who were walking by him around 2:23 a.m. June 11 in the 900 block of North Barstow Avenue. Officers arrived and found the man to be 'heavily intoxicated,' according to a police report. A cab took the man home.

5Officers delivered several pizzas following a traffic stop around 4:48 p.m. June 11 near Highland Avenue and East Moreland Boulevard. A police report, which did not specify the reason for the traffic stop, said two officers helped a pizza delivery man transport several large pizzas to their destination to 'ensure they did not go to waste.' The report said the pizza company was thankful for the officers' assistance.

6Police cited two drivers for racing near Industrial Lane and Sunset Drive around 11:40 p.m. June 11.

7An intoxicated man told police he got into an argument with two other men who spit on him on his way home from a bar around 2:47 a.m. June 12 near North Moreland Boulevard and Michigan Avenue. According to a police report, the argument was about baseball and did not escalate to physical violence. All three men were advised on their behavior.

8Police found four recently graduated students 'watching the sunrise' on the football field at Waukesha West High School, 3301 Saylesville Road, around 4:43 a.m. June 12. According to an incident report, the students said they were on the field as part of a project. Police told them to move along.

9A woman crashed into a stop sign around 12:38 p.m. June 12 near Center Road and School Drive while swerving to avoid an a child who dashed into the road there. The woman reported the accident herself, a police report said.

10Police spoke to a man who was standing motionless in the 300 block of Maple Avenue around 3:38 p.m. June 12. The man told an officer he was 'just praying' on his way home.

11An unidentified woman told police around 6:53 p.m. June 12 that she felt like cutting herself after dealing with several suicidal friends recently. Police found the woman, unharmed but with a pocket knife, parked in the 1400 block of Big Bend Road and took her to Waukesha Memorial Hospital for an evaluation.

12Three teenagers were reportedly throwing rocks and other debris from a railroad bridge at passing cars near West Newhall and South West avenues around 7:53 p.m. June 12. Police did not find the teenagers when they arrived but did clear some debris from nearby railroad tracks.

13A 13-year-old girl told her mother she was sexually assaulted by a 14-year-old boy around 10:30 p.m. June 12 while walking in Frame Park, 701 E. Moreland Blvd. According to an incident report, the boy grabbed the girl's breast and later took her to a house and took off her pants and underwear.

14An unidentified woman drove through a red light around 12:12 p.m. June 13 at Springdale and Bluemound roads and caused a two-car accident, a police report said. According to the report, no one was injured in the accident, but airbags in both vehicles deployed.

15An 85-year-old Waukesha man was spotted sunbathing naked in his driveway around 2:31 p.m. June 13 in the 2100 block of Laura Lane. According to the caller who reported the incident, the man has done so previously in view of young children in the neighborhood. A police report said the man was intoxicated and 'extremely uncooperative' and argumentative with officers who spoke to him and confirmed that he tans nude in his driveway. Police advised him on his actions.

16An anonymous caller reported five men were fighting over an intoxicated woman who was passed out around 6:21 p.m. June 13 in the 100 block of Northwest Barstow Street. A police report did not specify what the argument was about.

17A car had to be towed out of the construction zone in the 500 block of Delafield street after it was apparently abandoned by the owner following a collision with a pole.

18A woman's car was broken into and her wallet was stolen around 7:27 a.m. June 16 in the 1600 block of West Avenue. A police report did not indicate whether the victim or police had any suspects in mind.

19A man created a disturbance at a community health clinic in the 300 block of East North Street around 11:25 a.m. June 16. According to an incident report, a doctor there said the man began swearing and 'making a scene' at the clinic after the doctor refused to give him prescription drugs because she believed he was intoxicated.

20A semi truck struck the canopy over some gas pumps at Citgo, 1700 Pewaukee Road, around 4:38 p.m. June 16. According to an incident report, none of the pumps were struck or damaged.

21A car crashed into a crosswalk standard and knocked it down around 7:22 p.m. June 16 near West St. Paul and Wisconsin avenues. According to a police report, officers blocked eastbound traffic on St. Paul while waiting for the pole to be repaired. The driver did not appear to be injured in the accident, the report said.

22A Waukesha County Technical College student shouted and swore at staff outside the college's Waukesha campus, 327 E. Broadway, around 7:45 a.m. June 17 after he was prohibited from going on a trip with other students. According to a police report, the man left before officers arrived.
