A reckless driver was injured Tuesday when a pickup truck plowed into the rear of a semi truck in Waukesha, police said.

The driver's injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

The crash was reported shortly before noon near the intersection of E. North St. and Madison St.

The reckless driver was pinned inside the pickup truck, which was pinned underneath the semi truck, according to a news release, which did not provide the gender or age of the driver.

The driver was taken to a hospital, police said.
