According to police, the woman found out after reporting the theft that her roommate had taken the items to be professionally cleaned for her for Mother's Day and returned them to the woman. She did not press charges.
9A man was injured after he was struck by a car around 9:35 a.m. May 7 near the intersection of North Street and St. Paul Avenue. According to an incident report, the man was bleeding from one of his legs and an arm but told police he was OK. The report does not specify the cause or nature of the accident.
10Flight for Life was on standby to respond to a two-vehicle rollover accident that occurred around 2:01 p.m. May 7 in the 2100 bock of Summit Avenue, but no serious injuries were reported. The accident closed the westbound Summit lanes for a time, according to police.

12An unruly 25-year-old man trashed his room at the Clarke Hotel, 314 W. Main St., and threatened to kick the door in and cause more damage if he was not allowed back in his room to collect his belongings around 9:23 a.m. May 8. The man was escorted off the property and told not to return. Hotel management chose not to make a formal complaint, a police report said.
13A man was kicked out of Hebron House, 1301 E. Moreland Blvd., around 6:32 p.m. May 8 because he was drunk and belligerent and put his hands on staff there, according to a police report.
14A woman tried to exchange multiple counterfeit $100 bills at Walmart, 2000 S. West Ave., around 9:52 p.m. May 8. When she was told she could not exchange the bills at one register, she walked to another and tried again, according to an incident report. She left the store after the cashier at the second register also refused a transaction.
15A student at Waukesha South High School, 401 E. Roberta Ave., was found with a knife around 1:58 p.m. May 10. No additional information was available.
16A manager at Wisconsin Classics, 111 Wilmont Drive, told police around 9:46 p.m. May 10 that one of the auto shop windows had been kicked in. According to a police report, nothing was taken from the business, but the manager requested extra patrols in the area.
17A Subway employee reportedly stole almost $40,000 from the fast-food chain over the course of several months. According to a police report, the owner of the Subway, 1200 W. 19Three men may have been high on marijuana around 8:13 p.m. May 11 when they pulled into the McDonald's drive-thru, 1635 E. Main St. According to a police report, the men were smoking the drug while ordering food then drove away.
20A young child suffered a neck injury in a two-car accident around 8:32 a.m. May 12 near Blackhawk Trail and Highway 164. The child was 2 or 3 years old, according to a police report, but no additional information on the injury or its severity was available.
21A woman was rushed to the hospital by Flight for Life from her apartment in the 1000 block of Greenbush Street around 11:01 a.m. May 12 after she was found bleeding from her neck. 22Two anonymous callers were concerned about a male they saw lying down on the sidewalk near West St. Paul Avenue and Harris-Highland Drive around 4:05 p.m. May 12 because they thought he might not be breathing. Officers spoke to the male, who said he lays down on the sidewalk from time to time when he gets tired while walking home from Butler Middle School. He told police he might make a sign saying, 'It's OK, I'm not dead,' to set out when he lays down in the future to avoid any more confusion or concern.
