The Waukesha School Board approved three new principals and an assistant principal/athletic director at four Waukesha schools.

The appointments will begin in the 2016-2017 school year.

Here are the appointments, broken down by school:

West High School

Ryan Patt was approved as the new principal of Waukesha West. Patt has been the assistant principal at the high school since 2009. He will be filling the position left vacant by David LaBorde, who is retiring.

He received his bachelor's degree in technology education from University of Wisconsin-Stout and his master's degree in administrative leadership from UW-Milwaukee. Before his role as assistant principal, Patt was dean of students and taught technology education at West Allis Central.

Hadfield Elementary

Alan Busch will be the new principal of Hadfield. He is the current Butler Middle School associate principal, and he has been at Butler since 2011.

Busch received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from UW-Platteville and his master's degree in administrative leadership from the University of Colorado, Denver.

Members of the board said Busch described this position as 'his dream job.'

Waukesha STEM Randall

The school board approved Sprader as the principal of the Waukesha STEM Academy at the Randall Campus.

The school will move back to a two-principal model. STEM-Saratoga Principal James Murray and Sprader have been working between both schools this past year — Murray primarily at Saratoga and Sprader at Randall. The school board said Sprader has proved herself to be a strong leader.

Sprader graduated from UW-Madison with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and will graduate from Carroll University next month with a master's degree in educational leadership. She also completed her mentoring and coaching certificate from Cardinal Stritch University in 2014.

South High School

Todd Sobrilsky was approved as the new assistant principal and athletic director at Waukesha South. Sobrilsky is the current assistant principal and athletic director at Brookfield Central High School in the Elmbrook School District.

The board said Sobrilsky brings a lot of experience to the job and is a certified master athletic administrator.
