The Wisconsin state budget reduced spending for the Department of Transportation's major highway program, forcing many local projects to be delayed.

The southeast region's update to the six-year highway improvement program has gotten a number of revisions in line with the 2015-17 state budget, which reduced spending for improvements by $242 million in addition to a $83 million reduction in the highway rehabilitation program compared to the last biennium budget.

Here are the projects that have been delayed in the suburban Milwaukee and Lake Country areas:

Delafield: Expansion of the Highways 83 and 16 interchange

Germantown: Resurfacing of Highway 175 and bridge rehabilitation on Highway 41

Waukesha: Resurfacing of Manhattan Drive
