If you like art, downtown Waukesha is the place to be this weekend.
The 25th annual Waukesha Art Fest is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, on Main Street in downtown.
The fest features a juried art show as well as live music and theater. There will also be children's activities throughout the day.
Proceeds from a silent auction will be used for art scholarships for local high school students.
There will be approximately 60 exhibitors that include ceramics, jewelry, drawing, photography, metals, paper, printmaking, sculpture, woodwork, painting, glass, fiber and multimedia.
The event is free.
The fest is sponsored and managed by the Waukesha Art Fest Board of Directors and the Waukesha Downtown Business Association.
