Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed a brawl outside a Waukesha roller rink Sunday night to contact police.

Police were called to Waukesha Skateland, 1931 E. Main St., shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday after a fight between two people in the parking lot apparently escalated.

A woman in her 30s was struck by a vehicle fleeing the parking lot and was transported to Froedtert Hospital in critical condition. The woman, whose name has not been released, remained unconscious in the hospital Tuesday morning, police said. A 6-year-old boy received minor injuries in the altercation.

Police have recovered the vehicle involved and identified a suspect, but were not releasing that person's identity on Tuesday because police had not confirmed the person participated in the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Paul Paikowski at (262) 524-3786.
