Waukesha police Friday asked the public for help in locating a missing 13-year-old girl who may have used social media in a plan to run away from home.

Robin Cristina Cardoso, 13, was reported missing by her parents Wednesday, according to a news release.

According to the release, contact was made with the girl Friday via social media and foul play is not suspected.

Robin is described as Latina, 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts are asked to call Waukesha police at (262) 524-3833.
