Overnight road work to force closure of parts of I-94
Crews will flatten out bumps on I-94 at the Springdale, Brookfield and Moorland roads overpasses Wednesday night, causing rolling closures of the highway starting at 10 p.m.
The bumps worsened after the recent extreme cold weather, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation said in a release. Work will start at the westbound lanes of I-94 at Moorland Road, and all locations will be completed by 4 a.m.
Delays are expected in the area, and the State Patrol will be assisting with the closures.
