A man was killed after he was struck by a train on the tracks about a quarter mile south of Sunset Drive at approximately 10:08 p.m. Friday.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department and City of Waukesha Police responded to the accident. According to the city's police log, the train engineer said it may have been a suicide. The Sheriff's Department did not confirm this, but said the death is under investigation.
The man is only described as a white male; he is not being identified at this time.
