Homestead retained its spot atop the Lake Country/MyCommunityNOW suburban football poll with a 44-21 victory over Port Washington in the North Shore Conference opener.
The Highlanders moved into the top spot last week after defeating defending Division 1 champion Arrowhead.
Arrowhead defeated Kettle Moraine, 21-3, and is second in the poll.
