Capt. Ron Oremus reported around 9:30 p.m. Monday that the Waukesha Police Department is currently responding to/investigating a homicide.
"We have very little for details and details will not be available for quite some time, but if you could see if anyone witnessed a possible argument, fight, or shooting in the area of Summit Avenue and Moreland Boulevard, please have them call our desk officer at (262) 524-3780 with any information," Oremus wrote in an email to media.
According to information from the captain, a possible suspect description is a black male wearing a gray hoodie.
"If located, call 911. Please don’t make any contact with him as he is considered armed and dangerous," Oremus said.
