Three held in Waukesha pharmacy robberies

Three suspects, including a 24-year-old Waukesha woman, are in custody in Waukesha County in connection with two recent armed robberies at two pharmacies, Waukesha police say.

The two other suspects are a 23-year-old Waukesha man and a 26-year-old Waukesha man. The female suspect is believed to be the driver in connection with the armed robberies.

The first robbery occurred on Nov. 19 at the Walgreens Pharmacy at 221 E. Sunset Drive. In that robbery, a suspect covering his face displayed a handgun and robbed the pharmacy of narcotics.

The second robbery occurred on Nov. 26 at Valu Care Pharmacy, 501 S. Grand Ave. In that incident, a suspect armed with a handgun robbed the pharmacy of narcotics.

The investigation is continuing, police said.
