The City of Waukesha is considering a request to annex nearly 100 acres of land with development potential from the Town of Waukesha.

The Plan Commission is to review the request at its Wednesday meeting. The 96.1 acres is north of State Highway 164 and east of Big Bend Road, and is owned by the Carol & Robert Smart Trust, according to the commission's agenda.

There is no specific development plan for the land, but there could be proposals in the near future, said Jennifer Andrews, city planner. The property is open space, and includes wet lands, she said.
