The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department is asking the public for help in locating a 17-year-old missing Town of Genesee teen.

The girl, Sarah Ford, was last seen Tuesday afternoon in the City of Waukesha.

Family members are concerned that she may not be able to care for herself because of cognitive disabilities, deputies said.

She's described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, with brown hair and brown or hazel eyes. She was wearing a blue sweat shirt and pink sweatpants. She may now be wearing a red T-shirt with blue and pink hearts and red sweatpants.

The family is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts.

Anyone with information on Ford's whereabouts are asked to call the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department at (262) 548-7122.
