Locations for Gibson guitars have been finalized for GuitarTown project in downtown Waukesha

One of the last questions that needed to be answered about the Waukesha GuitarTown Project was where the 10, 10-foot guitars and the 17 playable guitars would reside.

That question has now been answered, as two days before the guitars will be unveiled to the public at the GuitarTown festivities in downtown Waukesha, the locations of the 27 artistically-designed guitars have now been announced. 

Below are the locations of the 10-foot guitars with the artists who designed them. They will be part of an outside walking tour in downtown Waukesha for three years.

Ramona Audley - First Federal Bank of WI, 134 Wisconsin Ave.

Jennifer Espenscheid - Waukesha Tattoo Company @ Galleria Edge, 463 W. Main St.

Gene Evans - Waukesha County Museum, 101 W. Main St.

Team Guthrie - Avalon, Corner of Main & Gaspar

Tom Noll - Waukesha Freeman, 801 N. Barstow

Bill Reid - Couri Insurance, 379 W. Main St.

Marcia Schneider - Taylor's People's Park, 337 W. Main St.

Ben Stark - Waukesha State Bank, 100 Bank Street

Jeff Seymour - Springs Building, 521 Wisconsin Ave.

In other news related to the project, guitar auction bidding has opened for three playable guitars by Sarah Gallenberger, Mutope Johnson and Jason Vogt that will be auctioned off online and during Thursday's gala event at the Rotunda in downtown Waukesha.
