A 56-year-old clerk at the Petro Mart, 114 E. Broadway, was found dead early this morning.
A call came in to Waukesha Police Dispatch at 4:19 a.m. reporting that the “clerk is down in the station, bleeding.”
Police and fire responded to the scene and found that the clerk was deceased. Police found wounds on his body, but were unable to confirm at this point that they were gunshot wounds.
It is not known if the crime was related to a robbery.
