Death of Waukesha alderman reported
Waukesha - Waukesha Ald. Brian White, 6th District representative to the Common Council, has died, family members informed city officials Monday.
Details of his death were not immediately made available.
Mayor Jeff Scrima informed council members, city staff and the media in a brief email midmorning Monday.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the White family," he wrote.
White was elected without opposition to his first three-year aldermanic term in April 2011, to a seat vacated when Ald. Paul Furrer decided not to run again. He had worked as an engineering analyst for Rockwell Automation. White, 55, was not in attendance at last Tuesday's Common Council meeting.
