Tickets now available for Gibson GuitarTown Gala in Waukesha

Tickets are now available for the Gibson GuitarTown Gala that will take place May 31 at the Rotunda in downtown Waukesha, 235 West Broadway.

The cost is $125 per person and includes hors d’oeuvres, beverages and a portion of the proceeds benefit the three beneficiaries of the Waukesha Gibson GuitarTown Project – the Waukesha school music and art programs, the Waukesha County Museum Les Paul exhibit and the new Waukesha Community Health Center.

The event begins with appetizers being served from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the program and live auction is from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The 30 Gibson Les Paul guitars (20 regular-sized playable and the 10, 10-foot tall fiberglass sculptures) that were designed by artists across the state will be unveiled at the gala. The artists, sponsors, Gibson executives and Wisconsin of Tourism Secretary Stephanie Klett will all be at the gala.

In addition, the Les Paul Trio, The Rusty Paul Band (Les Paul’s son) and Sammy Llanas will perform. Those groups will also perform on June 1 during the public celebration of Waukesha becoming a Gibson GuitarTown.
