Woman dies in early morning crash

A 34-year-old woman was killed this morning in a three-car accident at East North Street and West Moreland Boulevard in Waukesha.

According to police, the crash was reported at 6:47 am. Early indications are that the victim’s vehicle was traveling southbound on East North Street, coming into the city, and slid into oncoming traffic. Officers indicated that the driver was ejected as a result of the weather-related accident. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
The Waukesha Fire Department transported the victim to Waukesha Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead. One other female was transported by the Waukesha Fire Department to Waukesha Memorial Hospital for non life-threatening injuries and a male was treated at the scene and released.
This accident is still under investigation by the Waukesha Police Department.
