Waukesha - Voters in Waukesha's west side 13th aldermanic district will replace outgoing Ald. Rick Tortomasi, who is not seeking re-election, with either Philip Esche or Andy Reiland in the April 5 election.

Tuesday's primary narrowed the choice, eliminating from the field Richard Badke, who finished far behind the other two.

Reiland is manager of procurement and asset management for Safway Services and president for the Wisconsin Cycling Association. Esche works in retail sales at Stein's Garden Center and formerly worked in marketing for news publications. Badke recently retired as Waukesha's building inspector.
