State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

National Small Business Week

National Small Business Week is May 12 – 16.  During the last three years, more than 19,000 new businesses have been created in Wisconsin.  Small businesses employ over 49% of the private sector and are a vital tool in economic growth.  The Small Business Administration provides a variety of online resources for starting small businesses, financing small businesses and growing small businesses.  The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation provides resources for our state’s small businesses including incentives for job growth approved by the legislature and Governor Walker during the last three years.
