State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

Public Members Needed For Legislative Council Study Committees

Legislative Council Study Committees made up of legislators and members of the public are formed during the summer and fall of even number years by the Wisconsin Legislative Council.  Public members of each committee provide knowledge and background information to the committee, and are voting members of the committee.  The 2014 Legislative Council Study Committees are forming and applications to serve with a committee are due May 2, 2014.
